Rancho Restaurant Dominican Latin Food — Restaurant in Norristown

I walked in there and normally I would be disappointed if a place didn't have a smoothie but it ended up changing my life, the woman said they didnt have smoothies but they had lemonade and passion fruit juice. There was a dominican guy in there and I asked him if the passion fruit was good and gave me the most serious look ever and the slightest nod like he knew my life was about to change. He was right. The only regret (possibly the biggest regret of my life) was opting for the $3 dollar cup instead of the $5 cup. That juice is more serious then the first day at a job, with more flavor then Bobby Flay meets Martha Stewart and packs a punch harder then Kimbo Slice. It has changed my life for the better like a college degree or a winning Powerball...

What self respecting Dominican Resturant doesn't serve morir soñando or even coffee?(Here)The young lady who was at the register was kind enough to make a coffee but she explained that the owner has yet to buy a coffeemaker enven though people ask saily. While waiting I overheard a young man ask for coffee as well. . Not everything that is on the menu was available.If you come here for basic fare then fine. Seating is very close and the chairs need cleaning.Ive eaten at LOTS of small mom & pop Spanish (Mexican,Brazilian,Puerto Rican)spots in Philly & New York and this place needs some work . When asking for a dish you have the choices of either rice or plantain but not both. That's a BASIC combo everywhere else including a small salad...

The food was okay. But it took it an hour and a half to arrive. Original estimate 12:50, then they called grubhub to ask them to change it to 1:15 and it finally arrived at 1:30. The. I opened the bag and there was sauce EVERYWHERE. Looked in the container and realized there wasn't even any rice! They charged 20 dollars for a less than 5oz piece of salmon with nothing else in the container! So after spending over 30 dollars for food, I still had to get something else to eat! On top of that realized as soon as I ordered the wrong number was listed. So I called the restaurant immediately and gave them an alternate number to call me at when they arrived. They STILL called the other number. Lesson learned. I will never order...
