Diggers Diner — Restaurant in North Carolina

As with every other visit here everything was great (we actually stopped twice on this trip). Food is good and the price is reasonable for the portions. I always like stopping by in the office season because of the chance of getting to see and interact with the big dog Dennis, (when we lived in the area we would stop all the time and quite a few times we have gotten to sit and talk with Dennis for a while when no one else was there, he is awesome to sit and talk to), this time we saw him drive in and get lunch but didn't get to speak to him. This is the first time we went in the museum and being a Digger fan for 35 years I really liked getting to actually hear the narrated version of how it all started and seeing the original trucks. It's well worth stopping and letting the kids or grown up kids...

I expected to pay quite a bit here for lunch, but was very happily surprised to find the food prices VERY reasonable especially for a tourist destination on a major highway.

I had six of my children with me, and they all loved the chicken nuggets. I tried one and enjoyed it myself. The portion for the kids meal were very nice and even my teenagers had some food to bring with us.

I had a burger which was also quite good.

The staff was very friendly, patient, and kind.

Of course the Grave Digger design was originally the main draw for us, but I was incredibly happy to see that the quality didn't lack either. They obviously care very much for creating their own reputation and aren't just relying on the draw from the monster trucks.

Perfect diner for an good quick bite to eat, and very cozy. For the past decade It feels like coming home every time we visit. Beautiful animals on the land outside to visit. I love these goats they remembered me came over and allowed me to do the scratchies behind the ears. They just love to be loved. They even had an kid this year, the parents got their love, all the scratchies they wanted. Then let me say hello to their little one he got the scratchies too, oh I love this place. Monster truck ride around and they also have the digger's dungeon great store. I love the Monster trucks so much!!! Thank you for such great hospitality over all these years, even when it used to be super hot inside, I remember lol. I have always loved the family feeling...
