Gold Mine Cafe — Restaurant in North Carolina

I don't really know how to put this because it troubled my spirit when this happened to me....I usually stop here and get my breakfast plate and it's great food but there was a different type of energy on display...I order my food and waited patiently like always but when I went to go and pickup my food the lady....hold on let me explain one thing you should never check someone's plate by putting your hands ungloved over or around the food and this happened to me today I didn't get upset I just didn't understand why I watching the lady pull a unsanitary act over my food I asked for my money to be sent back on my card but it wasn't the action before but after that hurt my spirit.....the lady act as if that wasn't wrong to do to another human being this way in these COVID times..I can't express this enough please be careful and sanitary anywhere you go please I gave customer service for the lady only 1 star but the food I give a10. I only write to express this not to degrade, belittle, or slander anyone or place. Through all things that we endure please show love, peace, respect, and give honor to you family name for teaching you how to overcome the negative the right way and bigger thanks to God for you being able to show the ones that watch from the sidelines how love conquers anything you encounter. Do you want to feel at home? Do you want food equal to its price? What about food so good you'll divorce your wife? Well I mean the first two are definitely cleared here and the third might just mean you need some counseling. Seriously the best food in the area! Easy parking lot to access so you're in no way prevented from getting in here other than waiting behind the people already there! Breakfast here reminds me of being out in the wilderness, sitting by the fire making sausage and eggs in a skillet while listening to sweet sounds of the wild. That's just breakfast not to mention all the other options available like daily specials featuring some of your southern comfort traditions. If you're in the area and you don't try this place, well you just don't deserve it. It's a gift you have to be willing to receive, an actual blessing...

Don’t underestimate this small local restaurant just because it is attached to a gas station! The FARMER’S BREAKFAST BOWL IS DA BOMB💯! Get there EARLY-everyone loves this place-the food is always hot and delicious, service is always remarkable, portion sizes are wonderful, establishment is always clean and orderly. It may be a bit smaller than some standard restaurants, but it is so worth it! We love the down-to-earth staff and the short wait is always a pleasure because you get to interact with...
