McDonald's — Restaurant in North Carolina

The service today was horrible. This was so unlike our usual experience here. They put our food on a tray and then just walked around behind the register area for several minutes. I kept thinking that they were waiting for something else to add to it, but that was not the case. They eventually sat it in front of me. I pointed out that I wanted fresh, hot food. The girl told one of the other workers, who walked over in front of me, snatched up the tray, then slammed it onto the prep area. She jerked the food cartons off of the tray and tossed them into the food warming pans. She whispered something to the girl who told her I had complained. I stood there at the counter and watched. A minute later, that girl put the same food back onto my tray. When she turned around to see me watching, she turned back around and took the food containers back off the tray again and returned them to the warming bin again. Then someone else put those same cartons into a bag and carried them out to a waiting customer outside. Finally, new, fresh fries and chicken made it onto my tray. I have to say that I stopped coming to McD's a long time ago. And I was the biggest McDonald's fan all of my life. Over the last few years, everything just tastes different. Not like it used to be. However, I do still like your breakfast. We came today and went through the drive-thru. Normally i hate drive-thru windows. I was stunned today when the girl taking our order was so adorable. She listened, she was funny and I actually felt like I was communicating with a normal human being that likes her job. I have just never had a drive thru experience that was so pleasant. We asked for her name at the window and the guy said it was Haley. So, to Haley, thank you! Little things like this can make my day. You were so friendly; I had to say something to you! Arrived at dusk, the drive-thru was backed up so we decided to dine in. Dining area tables had obviously been used and had trash or food debris on them. I stood in front of the ordering counter 3 to 5 minutes While I watched a young woman that would take my order come out of the back to catch the fryer up then interact with drive-thru window and finally notice me. The young woman was polite and took my order for two 10-piece chicken nugget, Plus a quarter pounder. Deciding to order one more time, the young woman said she would bring our order out to the table for us. Complimentary sauces were forgotten. Chicken sandwiches were lukewarm. **Chicken nuggets we're very hot. ( second order of chicken sandwich resulted being the wrong chicken sandwich.
