From the moment we walked in, it was like stepping back in time to a place without the internet, cellphones or flavor. If only the chef could have broken character and used the internet long enough to Google how to make a burger. He would have known not to use canned mushrooms, actually cook the onions, and to season the meat. The burger was the worst I’ve ever tasted….it was greasy and had a mushy texture with no flavor at all. It was insulting and I couldn’t finish it. The potato salad was too sweet and the grilled chicken also lacked salt and was too dry. I don’t understand the other reviews. A real good southern hospitality and was the first place me and my boyfriend went to as a date bc neither one of us had gone at the time 3 years ago and had lived in southmont for awhile. This was my second time...
