If you’re searching for a truly exceptional family-run restaurant, Parker’s Burgers and Sweets is a must-visit. This charming spot, run by a couple with years of catering experience, offers a menu full of homemade delights that are nothing short of delicious.
We’ve had the pleasure of trying a variety of dishes, including their breakfast sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, chicken biscuit, club sandwich, and burgers. Each item is expertly crafted and perfectly cooked, making every visit a treat. Their desserts are to die for, we’ve had their apple and cherry pie, chocolate cake and cinnamon rolls.
What truly sets Parker’s apart is the personal touch they bring to their service. The owners know the names of almost every person who walks through the door, demonstrating their genuine care for their customers. They even go above and beyond by organizing holiday shut-ins for the community, showcasing their commitment to giving back.
I also had the chance to purchase a lovely ladybug painting, discovering that the owner helps sell items from local small businesses in their store. It’s clear that they support their community in more ways than one.
Parker’s Burgers and Sweets has become our favorite spot whenever we’re in town. It’s not just a place to enjoy great food, but a place where you feel truly welcomed and valued. We’ve definitely found our go-to spot.
In our last visit we found that they added a patio which is amazing so when we travel with our puppy we can still dine in,...
Read moreThe food & hospitality were wonderful! From the outside, it doesn't look like much (it's a trailer) & the space is small (maybe 10 tables), but it's cozy & most importantly, clean.
We grabbed a menu, sat down to decide, & went to the counter to order. The food is very reasonably priced (only $1 to upgrade to onion rings!) The food arrived at our table after about 10mins. I ordered a Mushroom Swiss with bacon added & onion rings. She brought my burger with a fork & knife saying they get messy... and yes, they do (it looked like the mushrooms are cooked in a gravy), but it was worth the mess. It was SO delicious! My boys (5 & 8) even ate their entire burgers, which is rare!
While sitting, there were a lot people coming in to place take out orders & maybe another 5 tables of customers sitting. At times, a line formed at the counter (there was only the owner taking orders, making the drinks, & and bringing out the food), but somehow the line moved quickly & all the food came out fast!
The owner was the sweetest person... she was so kind & welcoming. If you're looking for a great burger & friendly service, this is the place. It's not fancy, but it's definitely...
Read moreI used to come here on a regular basis. When they had someone running the front of the restaurant, the place was much cleaner. Now the floors are super greasy. Dangerously greasy where someone could fall. The tables were not being cleaned after somebody left, so I can imagine it being that way all day. Yuck. The wait to order was long and it took 20 plus minutes to get a burger. Now I don’t mind waiting if my arms aren’t sticking to the dirty table. I almost left my $27 order and walked out. But I stuck around. The food was dreadful. They haven’t changed the fry oil in forever. Tots were burned dark brown and metallic. Burger was dry and the chicken sandwich was half the size it once was. This place had awesome food a few months back. I will amend this review when they get their act together. Or they soon will be out of business and blaming the economy like so many other businesses that fail. Clean up your act Parker’s please. Hire a cleaner or a 3 rd set of hands...
