Pop's Raw Bar & Grill — Restaurant in North Carolina

I’m giving it a 2/5 star for multiple reasons. First of all there is zero social distancing in here and everyone is packed right next to each other (plus it doesn’t help that it’s is very small place). I was ordering a take out order and it took forever to flag down a server to have them take the order. There is no take out organization and it is very hard find someone to order. After the food was ordered, The server kept telling me “5 more minutes” which Ultimately turned into over 45 mins (even though the server told us initially it would take 20-25 mins). I asked for the coleslaw on the side of the pulled pork sandwiches and when I got home, I was missing both orders and along with other one from a meal. I was also missing the fish bites appetizer that I ordered. When I called the restaurant to inform them of this I spoke to a female manager, who after hearing everything said “so?” I explained that I was not able to go back to the restaurant to pick up the items that were missing and again the lady responded with “so? What do you want me to do?” Then after me trying to come up with suggestions (while the lady continued to have an attitude and said “so” or “ok” she finally told me I could come back on Monday to pick up my money. The reason why they are getting 2 stars instead of one is because I went back and got the fish bites instead of the money back for that order (I guess me missing three orders of coleslaw didn’t count for anything) and the lady was very pleasant (unlike everyone else I’ve encountered). Besides the rude, disorganized service, the food was bland and below average. The pulled pork sandwich was dry and came with bbq sauce on the side. The fries were soggy and the fried clam strips were chewy. Also I ordered the three from the sea and was told they wouldn’t make it for me (not that they couldn’t, the waiter said they wouldn’t) if I ordered two shrimps and clam strips. The waiter said it had to be three different items (which is not specified on the menu) but again the waiter refused to take the order and said it needed to be three different items. I can't speak to the food or the service. We stopped there for dinner. There was two drunk people standing out front. The gentleman was friendly and nice. His wife started talking smack when she saw my daughter sitting in the car with my grandson on her phone. She was on a work call and this women is screaming, "You need to put that phone away. We don't use those here at the outer banks." So we all walk inside and it was more a bar than restaurant. So we decided to walk out and leave. Not really a place you take a 1 year old. The drunk out front said the restaurant in on the side like it was a separate, so I walk back in and ask the bar tender if there is a restaurant side. They said no this is it. So I walk back out and say let's go and this drunk women says "what ever may God go with you" then proceeded to tell us to F#$k off and flipped us off as we were leaving. If you are looking for a trailer park bar atmosphere than I would recommend this place for you. I been coming to OBX every year for almost 12 years. (First and last time this place). This is the first time I experienced this anywhere on the island. I leave this review as a warning to others. Not sure when the locals start drinking, but these ones were trashed by 630. If my grandson would of been old enough to understand, this would have been complelty different. My family and I stopped in about 4:30 today and will never come back or recommend. Didn't even get the opportunity to try the food. The patrons were disrespectful and only staff member I saw was rude. Upon walking through the door my 3 year old son tripped and fell which led to everyone nearby laughing which was quite inappropriate in my mind. All the large tables inside were occupied so we made our way to the outdoor seating area. Talking with a mother and her daughter who were at the next table eating they told us staff came out and took their order. After some time I followed the mother inside as she went for her check she was waiting on. She told the staff there were others waiting outside to order to which the waitress / bartender responded she couldn't come out to take orders as she was the only one working and they'd have to come in to order. I then told her that was fine and asked for menus to take outside. She completely ignored me and turned to someone else seated at the bar and began taking their order. Upon that we left.
