Good π¨ ice-cream and service. Lots of choices. Lunch is served as well. Sandwichesπ₯ͺ, wraps and seafood π¦ rolls, though I don't remember lobster, Heh-heh! Limited parking π ΏοΈ, lots of seating. I had a small, three scoops, "Green Monster" in a dish with a sugar cone on top π.. Mint π¨ ice-cream with fudge swirl. Sweet! The interesting thing I saw was a falcon land on a branch of a tree π΄ and start screeching. I walked over to take a closer look and photo and it turned its head to look at me. I noticed a nest next to the falcon, but, I don't know if it belongs to the bird. Before I left βοΈ, a staff member wiped down the table I sat at. Good to see π. Facemasks are not required but signs are posted encouraging "social avoidance, err, distancing". Gift cards available. Delivery through GrubHub. You can order online. I've driven by on weekends and the place is usually packed. I still recommend this place. Update: Saturday afternoon, March 2022; Rum raisin is very good! I don't even drink, but, I could taste the rum. Pricey, but, big portions. Gift cards available. Someone was out directing cars. Lemon π sorbet hits the spot on a hot afternoon!

Update: just got a lobster roll which wasn't the greatest. Pretty sure it was made with frozen lobster. Basically the food and ice cream isn't that good. If the priority for the night is to just have some food at the beach, they definitely have that and it's a pretty spot to eat at the water. Bad ice cream. I've had a great lobster roll before. But the ice cream experience was terrible. First off, ice cream portions are probably three times bigger than they should be(this might sound good on the surface level, but I consider myself a huge fan of ice cream and I got my "small" cone, literally threw away a scoop before I took a bite, threw away another scoop while I was eating, and didn't even reach the cone). The size problem was exacerbated by the fact that the ice cream itself melted uncontrollably when outside temp was only 72Β°(your probably thinking I just don't know how to handle a cone, I have been eating cones my whole life and had no chance of preventing my entire arm from being covered). Finally, the ice cream itself was average, at best. Management, please be transparent about your cone sizes, and buy or fix your freezers so your ice cream does not instantly become cream.

Absolutely worst decision ever to eat here for anything other than ice cream we found out. I ordered a footlong chili dog. Was excited because i had not had one in years. They dont sell fries here, so got coleslaw. My daughter ordered a haddock sandwich. My grandson wings. We walked to find a table and was hit with stench of rotting corpes. Trash cans by tables stunk! We were attacked nonstop by biting flies on our feet and legs. My $7.99 + tax hotdog was NOT a natural casing hotdog. They put on a tiny roll. Came with a tiny bag of chips. Coleslaw was the only thing good. My daughter's sandwich was drowned in tartar sauce, on old stale role. She ended up throwing over half away. Same with my nasty hotdog. Wings were not fresh, probably frozen. My grandson only ate 1. Basically almost everything in trash. $51 in the garbage. Should have eaten at Petties or whatever its called. Fml. First clue was everyone else was eating ice-creams.

The foods great, the ice cream is superb and we absolutely love this place. Only reason I'm rating it at three stars is the manager is an absolute jerk. Whoever bagged our food forgot our drinks and when we told the young man at the window that he quickly ran back to grab them. After bringing the drinks up to us he was absolutely berated by the manager for leaving the window. It was loud enough that the 20 or so people in line all heard it and it immediately brought the good vibes to a hault. Everyone looked shocked at how this young man was being treated. As a business owner I am very disappointed that the Beach Plum would treat their young high school aged employees this way. With the current shortages in labor, this location will be lucky to have enough people to operate before too long.

You cannot get any better than a beautiful ocean view and amazing ice cream!! After a day in the ocean, we wanted something cold and sweet and the beach plum hit the spot. While surveying the menu, coffee Kahlua brownie caught my eye and with chocolate sprinkles it was amazing! I ordered a small and what I got blew my mind. My boyfriend loves black raspberry and he also got a small on a waffle cone. This was so much ice cream. We ended up having a very very light dinner. If you are looking for a "small" cone I suggest a baby or half a baby cone because the sizes and the flavors are amazing! When we come back on vacation, we will definitely be checking this place out again π

Things I love about the Beach Plum: - great location - super cute - nice seating /picnic area - real homemade icecream that is DELICIOUS - great price for that icecream (just compare with quality and quantity you get in nearby Hampton, it's no contest) - the food might seem pricey at first glance, but it's all incredible (seafood or otherwise!) and generous portions. - staff are fun and nice - summer gift card deal is great and my go-to gift for friends and family. - their clam chowder with lobster might be the best chowder in New England. I'd give it more stars if I could, this place is a New England gem.
