Don Carnitas — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

This was my 1st time trying this restaurant after seeing a TikTok review. Please Note if you're going to try this restaurant for the 1st time DO NOT order through their website. I'm not speaking of a 3rd party website..the actual business website. They charge significantly more for the food and a service fee for a pickup order through their own website. Once I arrived to pickup my order, I found out it's much cheaper to order by phone or in-person. I had no idea since I've never encountered this with other restaurants when ordering through their website and there was no disclaimeron their website. Horribe business practice. I ended up spending almost $10 extra simply for ordering pickup through their website. Ripoff!!

I ordered the tacos durados plate online and it clearly states it's a plate that comes with rice & beans. I got home with my order...No rice or beans in sight. I also ordered the churro which taste heavy and like it was fried in old oil. Took one bite and tossed it. Carmel sauce was supposed to come with the churro as stated on online;however there was no carmel sauce. So no rice, no beans, no caramel and I paid $10 extra for ordering online. No Bueno!

Over all the restaurant was clean, the front staff was nice, the food was good but due to the overall experience, I will likely not be a returning customer.

Update: I changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. The owner promptly responded offered to accommodate me for my experience. I appreciate the efficient and gracious management; however I'll likely not return any time soon, but I do suggest people try the food for themselves just make sure to call or order in-person if you're placing a...

Got this one in @doncarnitaslv clean shop dine in limited food bar hi chairs and a table of 4 lounge seating bistro style, the service is top tier for me these ladies are so nice, Beatiful, hard working helpful!!! The Dudes too, hard workingiiii 😆🤘🏼 the food here is outstanding! I'm just sick that I haven't been able to get over here until 2 days. I had the $20 carnitas special bean, rice and the Chicharron, beans, rice bowl, EXCELLENT. If you've been looking here, it is🔥 Side note while grabbing my bags i dropped my walket, a gentleman came up to my truck, says what your name i told him, he gave my wallet, was walking back in to Don Carnitas, i called him back donated to his lunch fund and said " I APPRECIATE U" he said "ITZ ALL GOOD" and thanX! He found my wallet! Hard working, family Vibe, HONEST CARING individuals are all over this building, Njoy FolkZ...

We got curious with the chicharones thats why we went there.it was a 30 minutes drive from our place in decatur.. The bowl with guac is something new for us thats why we ordered it first , the guac is tasty , , however the chicharones lacks flavor...

The 1 pound of chicharones we ordered was not even chopped when given to us.i supposed we need to ask them to chopped it for us (smh) which is unusual since they were big chunks of chicharones that wont even fit in my mouth..

They only have few dining chairs, so ideally you cant enjoy eating there with your family..

The service were slight average, atmosphere below average, food is mid average..

We will give it a try for the next time coz we love chicharones..maybe next time it...
