Cardinal's Pizza — Restaurant in North Lewisburg

My husband and I enjoy going and trying different pizza places around Ohio, we happened to be near the area and decided to stop by. The staff is very friendly, the service is great and the food is good. The pizza isn't the best I ever had but its definitely no where near the worst, the sauce has an ever so slightly sweet flavor to it (my husband being a sweet sauce lover had a harder time tasting the sweetness). I got the french bread pizza and my husband got a regular pizza. I tried both and the crust and bread were both good, nothing too fancy but better then some pizza places we've tried. They dont skimp on the toppings which is always a plus, my husbands bacon pizza had plenty of bacon sprinkled over top. They do have a good selection of drinks too from Pepsi products (bottle or cans) and even some iced tea and a few other drinks I can't remember. The building is a little older but they appear to be making updates (brand new lighting when we went in) and the tables were probably the cleanest I have seen in a restaurant in awhile. There are some arcade games, good for entertaining the kids, and their menu had other non pizza items as well. The pizza was a little on the expensive side for what it was but worth it to support a local business. You pay when you walk in and order then sit down so if you aren't one to normally carry cash you might want to make sure you have some change with...

The pizza it’s self wasn’t bad. It was the service. I had called in for a pick up, went in after 25 mins like they had said. Just to wait at the counter in a line of just myself for the lady to tell me they have yet to put the pizza in the oven. Mind you no other orders in the oven no other customer in sight. So I then proceeded to wait yet again. While in that 20 mins window 3 other pick up orders had come in and picked up their pizzas and left bc they had called in the order just like I did. Now I know it couldn’t have been anything on a personal level bc it was my first time eating they’re food I don’t know any of the crew that works their I couldn’t even give a description of any of the workers. They were all very professional I guess for a pizza place. But them selling over priced pizza at their convenience just was a terrible experience and, all thought it was fresh but it was not worth my time...

I ordered 2 13'' pizzas and was told 15 to 20 minutes. When I showed up 20 minutes later they stated it would be 15 to 20 minutes longer. I waited 20 more minutes and came back in and they said it was in the oven. I told them about this and they acted like they could care less and never said sorry we were slammed. Also the lettuce on the taco pizza was wilted and they changed their taco sauce which sucks. I usually don't leave these type of bad reviews but their arrogance was...
