Words are not enough to give you the experience of my last visit. The sweet tea is good and refreshing. The purple hull peas are seasoned just right and the mashed potatoes and gravy are on point. The waitresses are all there because they want to be. You can tell they are not there just for a paycheck. The management has a great attitude and you can tell they have a good thing going with their employees. The atmosphere is right out of a picture of the artist who's always got a picture of kids on bicycles and in dentists offices and Drs offices. The old signs that are similar to wallpaper and the customers are not just there to get a great meal. They are there to visit with their friends and family. It's a little part of their day that allows them to see their people. A thing that you have to do every day. An enjoyment that they look forward to. I'm just going to say this. Read moreThis place is a staple in the area. The food is always top notch and service is through the roof. They are only open for breakfast and lunch and I recommend getting there early because they get pretty busy at peak times. Even though they get busy the service is always prompt and super friendly. They offer several different lunch specials daily but have things like burgers, catfish and sandwiches everyday. My wife and I love to go on Mondays because they offer liver and onions as one of the daily specials. My wife loves the coconut cream pie and I love the...
