It's located in a really neat old timey dining car. But that feeling goes away upon entry. Yall shoulda stayed with the unique theme a little bit! It's not the greatest place to dine in. Feels like you're in someone's real home dining room. Nice and clean, just boring and unwelcome for visitors. Don't get me wrong, the folks working are really cheerful and nice to talk to. Yall just have such a cool outer theme and it's a lil bit of downer that inside isn't diner style too. No one goes for the ambiance anyway, right? The food is where it's at. They do make some great food. Dunno about their sushi selection, but the hibachi anything is wonderful. And you get alot to eat. I'm saying alot! 2 can eat off one order and still have leftovers. It's always hot and freshly made when you call in and pick up. Only takes about 15 minutes at the most til it's ready for you to get. Prices have gone up some more. Still good value for how much you get. OH, and the door is still hard to get open. They started using the left door a while back. Think right side was even worse is why they quit using right door... Unknown. But it sticks...
Read moreEdit to original review to respond to the owner......... I never was given an option to place an order from the male employee I was speaking with. So I never placed an order. If you threw food away in the trash, it wasn't because of me. And you should be ashamed for not being honest about the encounter with your employee or I guess it could have been you! All I did was call to give you money for your food and in less than 2 minutes whoever answered YOUR phone kept telling me to go to Google to look at the menu. He hung up on me. All I did was ask if one could get half fried rice and half noodles with a hibachi order ........................... This place used to be my go to for hibachi until a rude encounter attempting to place a to go order over the phone. Normally, I have a 3 strike rule. I'm going to say the employee got all 3 strikes in one phone call. You can keep your hibachi. I no longer have a...
Read moreWhat a disappointing surprise! I have gotten to-go orders here before and always been happy. I thought ordering through Grubhub would work the same way. Was I wrong! I had ordered fried rice with extra egg, chicken and shrimp. I received a box of rice. My second order was teriyaki shrimp with fried rice and extra egg. Still no extra egg, almost no vegetables, but rice out the wazoo. To top it off, when I called to let the restaurant know, they said they didn't want to be rude, but proceeded to rudely tell me I wasn't going to get what I ordered for the price of rice, told me to call Grubhub to get my money back. I told him I know my food would cost more because of the add-ons and I am good with that. I also told him Grubhub didn't cook my food. This place is very close to home and I was impressed with the quality and quantity on previous purchases. Not impressed anymore and I don't pay...
