We’ll keep in mind, I never goto McDonalds with high expectations of a good experience; this time they didn’t disappoint. We didn’t order a large order, heck it was a small order, 5 drinks and a 4 for 4. Two items were special order, the McDouble and a drink without ice. It started off bad. The speaker in drive thru must be new (no static), but the volume was so low; that I could barely hear the cashier. We already knew this wasn’t going to go well We placed our order after having to repeat several times and asked the cashier to repeat what he was saying because we could barely hear him. Lol, my teenage son in the front passenger seat kept asking “what did he say?” Heck, I didn’t know; and I was closer to the speaker. A dollar total showed up on the large screen and we assumed they got our order. It took forever as we waited just to be able to pull up to the payment window. He took my card, paid for my order and the receipt printer jammed. In the past I didn’t care about getting a receipt at McDonald’s drive thru, but hell they screw up our orders so often, I’ve started getting receipts to show proof as to what I ordered. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve paid, gone to 2nd window and they asked what I ordered. Heck after sitting 10 mins, I don’t even remember what I ordered. Isn’t it there job to keep track of what I ordered. I asked if he still knew what I ordered since there wasn’t a receipt. Lol, he said “I hope so”. He grabs a receipt from somewhere , hands it to me and asked “ Is this your order?” Seriously? Of course it wasn’t mine. I asked “ what am I supposed to do with this?”, he says “I don’t know”. Lol. I give up, I already knew our order would be wrong. I finally said ok, and drove up to the pickup window. I’m asked again what I ordered, Sheesh, can’t anyone keep track of what I ordered. Sir did you order 5 drinks? Heck I don’t remember, I had to pull up my text from the wife for the drinks I ordered. 2 Coke’s, 3 Drp, one no ice. So I said yes, she handed my 5 drinks ( in a drink carrier, thank goodness). None of the lid buttons were pushed in for coke or Drp. My son and I look at the drinks, and we both said at the same time “ which is which”. Dang it, how the heck are we supposed to know which drink is what? And guess what? I didn’t have the Dr P no ice drink. That figures Now I’m sure most people can smell the difference between coke and Dr Pepper, I usually can. But these all were a little watered down, and they all smelled the same. I didn’t have time to taste them all, so grabbed one and handed to the lady; and asked for the no ice I wanted. It was sitting on the counter, she just grabbed the wrong one. We got our no ice Dr Pepper, grabbed our food and left. We got home and started handing drinks out. I’ll be da**, We got 4 cokes and 1 Dr P. Now I’ve got family who are upset with the wrong drinks. I had to explain and apologize, but I wasn’t going back to get the right drinks, After all of that, Our burger was wrong too. Dang, just how hard is it to get a simple order correct anymore? Pounder, got wrong burger twice, manager said she's giving me a refund because she's not wasting anymore food, I was like....what? I don't want a refund, I just want the right burger, she then started yelling at me, saying that I was the problem & I was saying.... double qtr. Doesn't come with lettuce & tomatoes! LOL, she told me she'd have me banned from the store because I was making her staff feel bad for rejecting the wrong order twice, think she's a very unstable person & has no business in the management position, but I feel for companies these days! They're scraping the bottom of the barrel for staffing! Anyway, I called McDonald's customer service & reported her, waiting to hear back, she only gave me a refund for the double qtr. Not the whole meal & she refused to go in the back & supervise & teach the staff to make a double qtr. Pounder, almost seems like she's trying to get herself fired & got mad at one of her crew for defending me! Think she's looking for that unemployment check, but hope McDonald's doesn't give her that & sends her to customer service & anger management...
Read moreThe manager at the McDonald's on Jacksonville hwy (Prothro Junction) was very, very rude to us. We dined in McDonald's tonight at 10:30, ( I know it was a little late , but we ate pretty quick) We got done eating about 11:03 and wanted to order a 50% of mcflurry off of the app before we departed. (But mind you that the drive-through doesn't close until 2 A.M.) So I go to the counter, give them my code for the 50% off mcflurry, and they would not serve me. Said that they closed the lobby at 11. Which doesn't explain why they couldn't just serve us, because the drive through didn't close for another 3 hours.. All in all, I felt as if they didn't appreciate my business AT ALL and didn't treat me as if they ever wanted my business back... And I swear on everything I love and cherish that we were pollite, quiet and respectful. We cleaned up our mess even wiped our table down and picked up anything we possibly dropped on floor or seat... I don't recommend eating, dining, or having any interaction with the heavy set guy manager. He has no respect for himself nor...
