Ordered the Jeannie, great the first time made by a woman, didn’t catch her name and she was nice. Second time, ordered the same thing, it was a man who was working at the time, older with glasses, and there was no sauce on the pizza so I called to let them know, trying not to be a pain but it was bread, cheese and pepperoni, very dry. I was very nice and the man proceeded to get very defensive saying I was wrong that there was sauce on it cause he made it but asked what he could do to fix it so I asked if I could possibly get a discount on the next one (not free) he said he could do it and took my name down for the next time I came in. (Week later) Well I just ordered it again, walked in, proceeded to explain the situation of getting a discount and it was the same man I spoke with that day and he was very rude again saying he doesn’t remember, no names written down for a discount, then said he has no authorization to give a discount (not sure why he said he could do that when I called about it if he actually could not). that the pizza he just made was great and that I am already getting a discount on it for the price it already is for the size because of today’s prices on everything… then proceeded to slam things around because he was mad. Long story short, NEVER got a discount, he completely dismissed me and what I was saying and was very rude. I won’t be going there ever again just based on the service, the man’s name is...
Read morePersonal opinion , but after working in the industry,
Everyone needs to lighten up about simple mistakes, delays etc,
If you order through slice, first of all slice is not the greatest customer service, the pressure they put on businesses is ridiculous,
Secondly this is a mom and pop shop, Take into account the locality and it’s demographics, You have mostly kids or adults 50+ .
Most people retire or work elsewhere , kids don’t want to work, That being said, businesses will be short staffed, take some understanding and compassion to have the common decency and maybe call the business prior to placing an online order via slice. Or maybe if they don’t answer , maybe there busy and short staffed. You people need to get a grip about the rush, try being more polite and considerate. Call ahead of time ask questions about how long it will take for a delivery , ask about the order you place to make sure it’s what you ordered , look at and verify your order before you leave.
It’s no different from McDonald’s or Chinese restaurant, you look at your food most of the time to make sure it’s right before you leave don’t you? It’s not hard to have common sense and it’s not lot of effort . But then again common sense isn’t...
Read moreIf I could give a zero I would. I ordered one pizza, nothing crazy. The estimated delivery time was a little over an hour later, which was fine considering it was a Friday and I understand places are busy. That delivery time came and went, so I called… no answer. Currently it’s almost TWO HOURS after the delivery time and no pizza. I’ve called repeatedly and nobody has answered the phone. We’ve already eaten something different for dinner but my aggravation remains. I will be going to the restaurant tomorrow for a refund. DON’T waste your time, money or patience. Update: the delivery person arrived over two hours late. I said I didn’t want it anymore so the delivery driver took it with her. The next day around 2:30 pm, I went to the restaurant to ask for a refund and the guy behind the counter told me he didn’t know how and he’d have the owners call me. They never called. I called back 4 hours later and the girl who answered the phone was the same as the delivery driver. She was very rude to me. The owner said he was too busy to talk to me and he’d call me back at 9:00 pm. COMPLETE...
