I've been wanting to visit the second location of Mystic Pizza for many years now and finally got around to it yesterday! I have to say I much prefer this location simply because it has a good sized parking lot so parking isn't a struggle and the interior is roomy and spacious. The service was lovely and it was very nice and laid back when we went on Monday for lunch. We ordered a standard pepperoni pizza with half jalapeno and half sausage and it was absolutely delicious. The original Mystic Pizza was always my favorite pizza because I'm obsessed with pan pizza. This location is no different. The crust is crispy and delicious and it's cooked well, with good color on the cheese and toppings. The pepperoni is freaking amazing, I could eat a bag of just the toasted pepperoni. Everything was perfect and just how I hoped it would be. When I'm craving pizza I'll definitely be back to this location and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good pan pizza. And though I didn't try it, they did also have a thin crust option and other Italian fare for those who may not be as into pan...

We have gone to Mystic Pizza II for many years. Unfortunately, this is starting to become a bad habit with their food and service. We called to place an Order. Was told "please hold" and the phone was put down. I proceeded to hear the girl take 2 more orders over the phone, and then wait on 3 more customers picking up food. This was longer than 5 minutes on "hold". Then I heard silence. I kept saying "hello" with no answer. Suddenly I heard her proceed to take yet another Order on a different phone. I hung up after 7 minutes. Called back again only to be told "please hold" again. Again, she proceeds to take another Order on another phone, and process 2 more Orders for Pickups. She finally takes our Orders: 1 Large Grilled Chicken Grinder with lettuce, tomato and cheese, not toasted, and 1 Large Chicken Parmesan Grinder, not toasted. Both grinders were barely 8" and the serving of chicken was extremely SMALL! It was mostly bread! 😡 This is not the 1st time the Servings have been smaller than normal and the Customer Service lacking. Doubtful we'll be back at...

If you don't mind doing business with an establishment that supports racism this might be the place for you. I walked in today and was pretty much ignored. I was with a group of three other people and we were the only people of color in there. We were not acknowledged until I asked why we weren't being seated. When we were finally seated, even though the waitress had made eye contact a few times and not acknowledged us, menus were not brought to us. There were two Caucasian women that walked in after us and before their butts could hit the seats they were offered menus and water. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I talked to the manager to express how I felt about being mistreated and she said nothing....no concern no apology...nothing!! As I was walking out, I could hear her say "whatever". I turn around and ask if I heard what I thought I heard but she seemed to be in shock and said she didnt say anything. At that point it didn't matter because they weren't going to get my money. ...

We had been to Mystic Pizza in downtown Mystic but never to Mystic Pizza II. It was near the campground we were staying at and decided to get some dinner. This place was as busy as a stump-tailed bull in fly season. The parking lot was especially entertaining as it appears the curbs were just a suggestion to most. My honest opinion of the food was that it was good. I don't think it was the best or the worst but it was definitely enjoyed by my family. We also ordered a Italian Grinder which was actually made like a real grinder (kudos) but lacked flavor. I would ask for more Italian seasoning next time. The cheese sticks were our least favorite because they were a bit greasy and lacked flavor as well. Mystic Pizza is more of a nostalgic thing for my husband and I and not a food destination but more than likely will be back in the future.
