1st, can I give this a zero star rating? when i moved into this area, I wanted to try them out for a number of reasons. Location, a neighborhood restaurant, and the fact that I work for a large company that has a lot of employees that order food for lunch everyday as well as special occasions we all order food instead of cooking at home and bringing it into the work place. I had a few people over on Saturday night and we decided to order in for the night. I called them at 8:30 pm and was advised 45 mins. NOw mind you, I can look right out my door and see them but it's Saturday night so I understand. I called an hour later because I was going to walk over abnd pick the food up. The guy that answered the phone (with his fine caller ID detective work) told me it had only been 30 mins instead of an hour, I was just trying to see if I could come get it or if the driver was out with the order or what the situation was. I then advised the DETECTIVE that answered the telephone that I would be cancelling my order because I did not need to be met by so much hostility when calling to check on the hold up. I refuse to pay money someplace where people act as if your money is not important to them. Well Mario's... hopefully your buddies that are always hanging out in the parking lot and in your establishment are keeping money in your pocket because the way you all talk to people when they call in will cause people to go to elsewhere. You may want to call Restaurant Impossible because very soon it will be Impossible to keep your place open with the Customer Service you provide!!!! needless to say, I was advised don't call back and order from them again!!! From that day to this, we have (at work) had 1k + orders filled by a different place and trust me those guys are grateful to receive...
Read moreFirst and foremost, I have ordered from them for almost two years. When I first started to order from them the quality was there easily 5-stars on the food, we would spend at our establishment of work up to $100 a trip out. You would wait a little for your food because it is a busy environment in the area, but you would overlook that because the quality was there.
Over time, the quality started to slip. Not sure if a cook left but the Pizza wasn't there seemed over done or just not right. Since I have dished at many other pizzerias in Pittsburgh along with many other metropolitans you know when you eat something right. But over time delivery times would go up and up. Sometimes we would call and the chef didn't show or the oven broke down.
Today was the last straw for me, ordered a pizza and the delivery driver was new, brand new, didn't speak no English (literally), and the poor cashier lady I screamed at over the phone was not prepared for my wrath. Eventually they showed up. The food was cold and not even up to par. Hell the Fox's down the road can poison me better.
Again, it is a buyer beware. I don't know what the turnover is, I don't know what the standard for delivery drivers are there. But if you don't mind cold deliveries, mediocre at best food (again after 2 years I have seen the quality decline), and communication breakdowns.....this is your place. If you are a professional and counting on them, prepare to be disappointed, you might...
Read moreI ordered for delivery. Chris took my order, I told him I had a coupon for a lg cheese pizza, whole reg hoagie and doz wings (cut) for $25.99. I ordered that along with pasta. I then asked Chris if I could use the coupon for free breadsticks as well. He said yes, he did not tell me that if I used the free breadsticks coupon I couldn't use the other coupon. He asked if I wanted to leave a tip for the driver since I was paying with a cc, I said no I would give a cash tip. He did not give me a total before hanging up. When the food got here I asked the driver for the total, it was $65.94 & I gave him a $10 tip. Upon reviewing the receipt I realized that the coupon for $25.99 was not applied. When I called I was told it was due to the free breadsticks. They offered to give me a dollar something refund (Apparently they kept my cc info cause they didn't ask for it to issue the refund) if I wanted my order rerung with the $25.99 coupon as they had to charge me for the breadsticks. I didn't get the garlic bread that was supposed to come with the pasta and the food wasn't even that hot. I highly recommend not ordering from this place! The customer service sucks! We order out at least twice a week, this is my 1st and last time...
