Highland Pub — Restaurant in Northfield

I was very happy to find this place. I was invited a meeting with the Central New Hampshire Chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association! (NEMBA). This organization was a meeting to support mountain biking in the region and this pub hosted this event. This is a perfect combination as the pub it's self is located in the Highland Mountain Bike Park.

Looking this pub's web page I discoved they are avalible to rent and/or host events. The food and beverage selection looked fantastic. They say they "specialize in craft pizzas and craft beers while also offering a wide selection of burgers, sandwiches, burritos, tacos, and more. Our menu features locally sourced ingredients whenever possible."

While the menu items looked great online I have to say the pizza and sandwiches being delived from the kitchen looked even better in person. Everything looked cooked to perfection and was top notch. While I had dinner before I arrived as I did not know food was available for this meeting, I did see the bar did have a nice selection and service moved fast with the large crowd that gathered for the event.

Bathrooms and a bike shop were on the lower level, while the pub took up the entire second floor. I was comfortable with the large crowd for this event as there were lots of seats and tables, but also a standing area where people caould also stand and talk.

I was there after dark, but there were large windows on the mountain bike park so I imagine you could look out over the park and see people riding. The parking lot was huage and accomidates many vehicles.

This is more of a weekend place as the web site current hours have it open 11 to 8 Thursday to Sunday. So for anyone in the area this could be a nice local pizza place to support and cut down on the drive to one of the pizza places in the city.

Another interesting features is a mug club, and in 2022 it comes with a free break bleed for your mountain bike. Over all this place is perfect for any maountain bike and pub fan. Or if you live local they also appear to be...

Great spot in rural NH to watch the bikes flow down the trails. Really great prices on a nice selection of beers and other cocktails. The food was good and hot and fresh. We ordered a couple pizzas and they were tasty! It was such a great spot to enjoy the evening sitting outside watching the deer eat their dinner next to the pond while the fish were jumping. Just a wonderful spot. Special hello to the kitchen guy William who we had running back and forth, never complained and...

Neat place. But the rice was so undercooked that it was not enjoyable. I asked for lemon and the bartender said they didn’t have any. But watched one of them put a lemon on a glass that someone came over for. Wasn’t sure what that was about. They had a kettlehead beer. That was probably the best part. Won’t go back...
