Worth Brewing is a great little brewery in downtown Northwood IA. Looks like an old bank inside with pieces of buildings from around the old city. They had 13 beers on for my stop including a helles, brown, a Belgian white, Bavarian wheat, American IPA, cream ale, fruited cream ale, fruit beer, coffee stout, oktoberfest, black IPA, Czech pils, and a very good scotch ale. The patrons and the staff were really friendly. I will definitely stop back if I find myself back in the area.

This is a really cool place. There's a ballroom upstairs which is old, but again, very cool. There's a lot of seating and quite a few different beers to choose from. You can do up to 7 beers for a flight. Their bar seating is antique looking and the next time we visit when we have more time to stay, we would like to sit up there and chat with staff and find more out about the building!

Small town brewery. A sidewalk patio and some picnic benches in the back. Nothing fancy but it was worth the 7 minute drive from Diamond Jo's.

Definitely a place not to be missed! Beautiful historic building and what I feel was really good, quality craft brew. Very helpful and engaging (and informative!). One of the two people responsible for brewing happened to be around the bar and he was more than willing to patiently answer questions from people sitting at the bar. Food options are available right by the taproom or you are welcome to bring in your own food. The people next to us ordered some Mexican food that was delivered to the bar with chips and salsa. Really neat restored ballroom above the taproom with an...

This little brewery in this little town in the corn fields of northern Iowa brews some of the best beer anywhere. The service is friendly and knowledgeable; and the historic building is pretty cool. Peter, the brewer, creates perfected standards and clever variations. Everything is solid from the top of the menu on down. My favorite seasonal is the Father Filbert Brown ale, a beer that finishes so gracefully, you will crave another...
