I (Kate) was looking for someone reasonably close for a corporate "Welcome Event" we were putting on for a company we acquired. Sweet Stuff Bake Shop was the only bakery within 30 minutes (driving) the Monday following Easter weekend. Then, we had to push the event out two days, which turned into pushing it out nearly a week. Sweet Stuff Bake Shop was understanding and willing to continue working with us given the inconvenience we were facing trying to close on this company. The bonus? They DROVE to the location that was 30-40 minutes away - amazing.

We typically order sheet cakes for these events and Sweet Stuff Bake Shop recommended this BEAUTIFUL cake done in fondant with our logo and chocolate cake and vanilla filling. Everyone LOVED this cake. By far the best cake we've ever had made to date.

Amazing quality. She squeezed me in for 2 days and I can't thank this lady enough. Another person canceled on me last min and I was freaking out and she eased my stress... her cake was the best I have ever tasted and I am beyond picky on cake and cupcakes. She definitely takes the time and quality in her work and she will go out of her way and beyond to make customers happy . I am so excited with this cake she seriously made my entire month this was so goood with detail and the taste. I have known Melanie for 3.5 years. She deliveres baked goods to the students of Wheaton College where my daughter is a student. The treats are always well received and she is spectacular. I visited her new shop in late August and was amazed! The atmosphere is incredible and her sweets are even better. This weekend we returned to pick up a birthday cake (delicious) and many sweets. The cinnamon rolls are delicious and the Pot de Creme is smooth and rich.
