Burger King — Restaurant in Oʻahu

Update: After writing the below review, some folks in our party went to go get soft serve cones. There was a little one who wanted a cone too, but the cones are super tall (great value at $1.89 & no tax). The very sweet girl at the register suddenly also gave the little one a small cup to put the cone excess in so he didn't lose his ice cream to gravity/being a little guy who doesn't eat so fast.

Clean. Courteous service, very sweet. Terrific parking. Tons of space.

Idk why other reviewers had any problems. We've been coming here for years, and have never experienced what they're talking about. Order has never been messed up. Decent temperatures, comfortable. Most fast food joints are either freezing cold or there is no temperature control it all. This is comfortable, civilized.

Can substitute a side salad for fries in the value meal. Side salad is substantial, lots of shredded cheese and very nice tomato slices. No additional cost to substitute a healthy option. Love that!

Food is consistent, well cooked. Clean. Decent presentation.

Convenient hours. Open 7 days a week.

Flat screen TV on wall. Usually tuned to a sports network, or a news channel.

Bathrooms on site.

Coke products (Coke Zero, etc.) on free refillable fountain with many selections.

Drive through is located in a good shape & location, unlike some other fast food places that have a very sharp turn.

Recommend. Down a half star for it being on a closed post, but a military ID is not needed to purchase anything here. Only to get on Hickam , you'll need either a military ID, or a federal government ID. If you're a contractor, active duty, or a reservist, or have friends who are, you're fine.

This Burger King is a fairly reasonable representation of just about any other Burger King, if you're familiar with the chain, so I won't waste your time with a description of the variety or quality of food. Instead, allow me to tell you what sets this BK apart from others that I've visited over the past several years. First of all, the service is generally quick and friendly. There's always a friendly smile, and often a bit of friendly chatter, and agreeable response to any comments and suggestions. This does bring me to my only recent suggestion for the place: Please re- replace the breakfast orange juice. The new cartons of orange juice may be easier to handle than the old fountain OJ, but it's just horrible tasting. If you insist on pre-packaged cartons, please select something that tastes good, not just the cheapest juice cartons...

This is the worst burger king EVER! Not only did they have an issue and were unable to serve burgers because of a problem with their equipment and refuse to honor any of the coupons they advertised but when I asked them if they could substitute something they told me to take my business elsewhere. I will NEVER eat at ANY burger king ever again. That goes for my whole family and I suggest u don't either. Apparently the manager instructed his employees to shame anyone who wanted a burger. You can have it your way as long as u have exactly what they say. NEVER AGAIN I now hate u burger king and ur hiring of sub standard employees who are unwilling to compromise and operate like the customer is always wrong just cost u a family...
