This used to be my favorite shrimp truck on island. I made my family drive up with me on Sunday after traveling from the mainland all day Saturday. We ordered 1 coconut shrimp, 1 garlic shrimp, and 1 surf and surf. It took longer than usual but I wasn’t upset given they seemed busy and a little overwhelmed. We finally got our food and received 1 coconut shrimp and 2 garlic shrimp. I walked back to the truck to say I had ordered the surf and surf but was missing the mahi. The lady rudely responded that the mahi was not listed on my ticket. She was correct that it was not written down which meant that the order was taken incorrectly. Then I realized even though it was written down as 1 coconut shrimp and 2 garlic shrimp, I was charged for the coconut shrimp, garlic shrimp, and surf and surf (which is exactly what I ordered AND more expensive). But they were unwilling to admit or correct their mistake. And the food wasn’t even good for the first time. Sad and disappointing. It’s one thing to have the food off one time, but not acceptable to be rude or distrusting of your formerly...

New favorite restaurant. Seriously. This experience could not have been better. Right away the shrimp shack staff were kind, welcoming and friendly, it'd be hard not to be happy in such a beautiful location, right across from the beach with the breeze coming off the water. This spot has a fantastic menu, the three of us went with two plates to share but we could've downed four plates easy. Their coconut shrimp is one of the best bites of my life, served with a mango honey sauce that it SO GOOD and they're being SO CHILL about selling it, they could put up a sign or something to let people driving by know they have maybe the best sauce I've ever had. Their garlic shrimp was great as well, the Mahi Mahi with grilled onions was the other star of the day, I suggest loading up on coconut shrimp and the mango sauce, as much of the mango sauce as you can get away with, and Mahi Mahi and enjoying it all as we did at their tables by the sea.
