1st Street Lounge — Restaurant in O'Fallon

I like this place. Small sports bar with a better than average sports bar menu. The atmosphere is bright and clean, music playing, but you can have a normal conversation with the person across the table without shouting. Kid friendly place. Service was quick and friendly. The menu has a nice set of options. Mostly burgers and sandwiches, a few salads big enough for a meal and a couple of entree plates. I had the Frisco melt hamburger. It was good, but not great. Came in on Monday for lunch burger and fries special ($5). Great price and amazing value.

The places was packed at 12:15ish. Sat at the bar for great prompt service considering how busy they were.

Upgraded to the house salad. It tasted good possibly preassembled. Croutons were flavorless and crunchy. The blue cheese was bought and could have been better.

The burger was amazing! I’ll come back for that alone. It is a smash burger had amazing taste. It was a deal at twice the price. I would consider the double burger. I am glad ordered it.

Had to pick a lunch spot on the fly coming home from a long road trip, and I’m so glad I picked 1st Street Lounge. Outdoor patio seating! Ordered the boneless chicken wings with their spicy garlic sauce as an app. It was some of the best house made sauce I’ve had. The chicken was quality and not chewy. Then ordered the Greek Turkey Burger with a side of house chips for my main meal. Also delicious! House chips can be a hit or miss at some places, but these had this barbecue seasoning on them and were cooked just right. Food was hot and fresh. Justine was a great waitress.
