Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in O'Fallon

Let me start out by saying I LOVE CHICKEN SALAD CHICK. Today I am giving a 1 star because I have come in and gotten the same thing every time I order. I have ordered from several locations including this one several times. I order the buffalo chicken salad sandwich on croissant with 4 tomatoes or I purchase the Togo container, 2 croissants and tomatoes and I have never ever had an issue until today. I do not write crappy reviews because I myself have owned a restaurant and have run them for 15+ years. I spoke with the manager not the owner and the manager told me that I could not purchase 6 tomato slices WHAT! I’m sorry but I have always done this this new. As a manager you know that you can modify things this was not wanting to figure this out. This was just a hard and fast NO. I get inventory I’m big on it but I also know there’s a way to make this right. I am headed to my husbands ball game and want to make my husband and I a sandwich before his game. Let me start by saying that I have always loved Chicken Salad Chick. I always get the same thing, but my favorite thing is the grape salad. I love it so much that I always order a large side of it with extra toppings. Tonight, I was so disappointed even so much so that I may not go back for awhile. My chicken salad was okay, but a little dry compared to usual. My grape salad tasted like pickle (and it was the large side in a container on its own, no where near a pickle) so i assume it was cross contaminated somehow. Some of the grapes were so sour that I couldn't continue eating them. Normally they are juicy and ripe. And very little toppings which was also a let down. I hope tonight was just a fluke since it hasn't happened...

The O’fallon IL location is a testimony to what true customer service is all about! The catering order I placed online was never pushed to them and I had requested a pick up time a few hours early within the order. When I called that morning to see if the order was ready, they hadn’t even seen it - by no fault of theirs. No only did they scramble to throw the order together for me for an 11am lunch (I called at 10), the manager Robin drove to the client office where the lunch was being held and brought us soup bowls that had been left out of the box. Robin and her whole team went above and beyond and truly made the lunch a success, and my day was stress free!! Amazing teamwork and I can’t thank...
