I just ordered $29.00 worth of food from China King in O’Fallon Illinois and it was the worst tasting food I’ve ever had!!! The only thing I could eat was the Crab Rangoon. The PORK ROAST ST PAUL TASTED HORRIBLY THE PORK ROAST FRIED RICE WAS HORRIBLE THE PORK ROAST EGG ROLLS WERE HORRIBLE!
I think the problem was the Pork roast was old and hard!! Yuk!!!! I’m thinking about calling them and asking for something else!!
I usually get chicken or shrimp..
UPDATE!!! So I did decide to call and report that the pork roast wasn’t fresh and the manager was the rudest person I’ve ever talk to! He hollers at me!!
He accused me of eating his food and trying to get a refund. He said it’s been about an hour since you ordered. He wanted to know how much was left and I told him most of it was left and the rest was in the trash. He said he needed all of it backI told him no one would eat it so I cleaned up and threw it away and I would get it back out of the trash and give it back to him. He then said ok Someone came with a new order of something else and I gave him the bad food back including what I took out of the trash and they checked the bag to make sure everything was there. I was not trying to get FREE FOOD and I order from them all of the time. I told them the PORK ROAST was old and they should not serve it to anyone else.
I don’t know if I will ever order anything else because you can’t just talk to and treat good customers this way. You can see from my phone number that I’ve never returned an order...
Read moreOrdered House Special Fried Rice about 11 AM and when we got home, discovered the fried rice had been taken out of a refrigerator (probably from the night before) as the rice grains were smaller than normal and it was obvious that it had been reheated due to the poor taste and uneven temperature (parts were still cold). Never had this problem with evening orders but this was totally unacceptable. I will update this review pending the results of my next visit. Today ordered (5/16/19) Sa Cha Chicken. It's suppose to be hot spicy but had no spicy heat at all. This is not Sa Cha chicken. Problem is probably due to illegal Central American/Mexican cooks. Update 11/13/2021: Decided to give them another try but again what a disappointment. Phone ordered take out and was told 25 minute wait for pickup. Got there 30 mins later and the total wait was 50 mins! Women walked in while I was waiting and ordered while I was there and got her order before I did. One of the take out items was 1 quart House Special Fried Rice and it was way under cooked. AVOID this place like the plague. I will be getting my Chinese take out in the future in Lebanon IL as they have better reviews and prices on most items are slightly lower. Its a mile further but travel time is the same due to less traffic lights. If another Chinese restaurant was opened on the east side of I 64 in O'fallon, they would not have to work hard putting this place out...
Read moreMost days I go to China King without a complaint but today I went and ordered my food waited so long I don’t even remember how long I waited because I didn’t get a receipt so I didn’t keep track of the time but got home with my food and still had to put it in the microwave. By the time I asked how much longer I had to wait. They told me that the orange chicken was almost ready. There was barely any orange chicken in my son’s dish, it had much more rice than orange chicken which was very disappointing for him because he loves their orange chicken plus we had to put that in the microwave as well. I know it’s New Year’s Eve so I’m assuming they must’ve had too many orders and didn’t have enough food but I think it’s better to just tell people you ran out in to treat them like a piece of crap just to make money. People know when they’re getting scraps and I think that is just wrong to do especially when you are a regular customer I’m not used to going in most of the time I’ll order online but nevertheless it’s wrong and I am very upset. My crab raccoon taste like it had just been sitting on somebody’s table for...
