I am absolutely blown away. This was our first time at this location. We went inside and ordered our food, then went to go sit down. Most all the tables were dirty, but they were really busy, so whatever, not a big deal- we used a napkin to wipe off our table. We sat down and waited around 20 minutes before our food finally arrived, only to realize my friends food had gotten rang up wrong and so they gave her the wrong thing. She said something and they worked on the correct meal, which took about 10-15 additional minutes to be sent to our table. She set the incorrect meal to the side of the table to bring home later since they let her keep it. I ate while she waited for her correct meal, and my grilled cheese, a vegetarian item, was covered with meat from the grill and tasted like meat. Some parts of the bread were so hard and chewy that I couldn’t eat it. The fries were overcooked, old, and greasy. The sodas tasted flat. The women’s restroom was absolutely disgusting with only one usable stall. I kept noticing ants crawling on me and on the table, which was gross. Then we noticed the meal that she had set aside to bring home later was COVERED with ants… they were just absolutely swarming it. I mean how is this even possible?? Against our better judgement, we decided to use the table QR code to order ice cream for dessert. We waited and waited, 25 minutes went by and nobody ever brought it out, so we went up to the counter. They had not even made it!! When my friend did get her malt, it was not even fully blended. Read morePlaced an order online for carry out and was advised that it would be ready at 738pm. It was not ready when I arrived and I was told that there were only 2 orders ahead of me. I stood there for TEN minutes and watched well over 6+ orders get bagged and no sight of my order. Mind you, NO ONE ELSE is standing there waiting but me. Each time I asked, no one came back to me to provide an update. Finally a guy who I assumed to be the manager came to me and asked if I needed help. I for the THIRD time said that I was waiting on an order that at this point was now over 10mins late. He asked the kitchen for an update and I heard no response. I then proceed to ask for a refund. He tells me that he can go to the back and process the refund. I ask for a receipt and he looks at me puzzled!!! NO WAY I'm leaving your restaurant and just going to TRUST that you process my refund... INSANE!! Now my order comes out. They hand me the bag and the dish of the flavor of the day. The flavor of the day was Turtle Dove.....custard with chocolate, pecans, and caramel. What they handed me was basically a dish of vanilla custard. I'm beyond LIVID at this point. I left the VANILLA custard on the counter and left. Their lack of concern, lack of service, and lack of apology was extremely disappointing. Read more"So do you want it or not?" This was one of my more memorable drive thru moments.... When I went to order, I asked for a kids scoop. I confirmed twice that the gentleman had in fact heard me because the item wasn't showing up on the screen. Yep, he had it, allegedly. Forward (slowly) to the window. I was a mere 4 inches from centering on the window. The lady had the window open, tapping her nails, subjecting my custard to the elements, but she did not acknowledge us. When we were finally able to pull up, she asked for my coupon. Wait, what? What coupon? "The coupon for the kids scoop." I did not ever confirm that I had a coupon nor was I asked about it. So she said, "actually that will be $13." I did my part in making sure the item was accounted for when I ordered; therefore, I felt disappointed that she would not take responsibility for the error. This is a beautiful facility with a quality product, but you can tell some of the employees are overworked, underpaid, and unvalued.
