First Watch — Restaurant in O'Fallon

So here's a fun fact for you I hadn't been up here and probably a month if even and I usually pick up put my order in and pick it up so last time I was here there was a couple people I noticed telling the staff that there's people always parked in the mobile curbside pickup spots which they only had two of them and I think I don't even think they were together literally two customers that come in they are probably delivery drivers I don't know but them spots are reserved for that reason and that reason only so I come in today please curbside mobile pick up parking spots no more they took out the signs and made that available for this even customers that is so horrible I will never order from here again I had to park all the way behind the building literally curbside pickup cuz you're running in and out you know when to come get your food you know it's ready why the heck would I want to walk a half a mile to get in there to get it shame on you whoever the owner is of this establishment shame on you shame on you shame on you because the customers like me who like to pick it up to go I'm a paying customer and all the customers that want to come in there and pick up and go and the spots be available that complained about it that has every right to complain and the way that you handled it and took them spots away you could at least made him someplace else close to the building but you totally 100% took him away I will be putting this all over social media it might not seem like a big deal to people but just stop and think of something in life that's a convenience for you that makes life just a little bit easier and then maybe you'll understand where I'm coming from there and there's there you go it's this horrible I cannot I cannot even believe that I just now witnessed this there are no mobile curbside spots leftAt this establishmentThey wipe them outBecause customers complainThat customers that are coming in to sit down and eat our parking in themBecause literally a couple weeks a month ago when I was in here I witnessed that complaint and I come in here and I...

Excellent every time. We come about twice a month and have had great experiences every time. From the bussers to the wait staff to the kitchen staff and managers - it’s really run SO well. Every person is friendly and I feel like every person is equipped enough to answer any questions. (For example, any staff member, regardless of title would happily answer a questions or grab an extra fork, if needed. It feels like people enjoy working here and that makes me enjoy eating the incredible food.) I tend to get the avocado toast a lot because it’s such a perfect sized dish. 2 eggs, whole grain toast with avocado mash has all the macros/nutrients for a great meal and it’s so flavorful. My husband gets something different each time and has never been disappointed. They have great big pancakes, warm syrup (yes!!), and very good coffee. You could come here for just toast and coffee or get a huge meal with your whole family - the kitchen staff is top notch and consistently good. They have lots of different seating options - from 2-seaters to big tables that can be pushed together. There is a wait on most mornings, but you can join the waitlist online (or from their app) and I highly recommend doing so, even if you think it won’t be busy. We just went today and when I first put my name in the wait said 5-15 mins and then we arrived after a huge crush of people so it was more like 20 minutes.(which is still pretty good!) Okay so normally I do not leave reviews at all, but something had to be said about today. I’ve been to this location many times but today something was different as their excellency went above and beyond. Camille was a FANTASTIC server, amazing personality and super friendly. From being seated promptly during a busy brunch rush and to having the food out in 12-15 minutes after ordering was amazing.

Starting with the smoked salmon eggs benedict, every bite was packed with intense flavor all the way thru. The salmon was cooked to perfection and on a dish like this you want the salmon to be the star and they delivered just that. Savory, delightful, wonderful.

The last thing I wanna talk about is their new Lavender Spiked Lemonade. I was skeptical at first because Lavender can be overpowering if used in the wrong increments. That was not the case here. Sweet refreshing lemonade with the smallest hint of lavender left me feeling like I was on the beach somewhere. I wish this drink wasn’t seasonal only as they should serve it all year round.
