Not a bad spot, it has potential, but maybe we just hit them on an off night. Would give a 3.5 if an option. Can’t justify a four star. The food was ok but not great. The service on the night we went was very not good, over ten minutes of sitting on the patio until I finally walked up to the bar to get a beer and ask if we are supposed to order from the bar. She told me a server was out there but I mentioned that our table and three others hadn’t seen a server in awhile and she went to go grab her. After we finally got a server, the food came out relatively quickly and was presented well. That said, the food just wasn’t that great. We got the pretzel charcuterie board and the pretzel was very good and the cheese dip was not bad. However the meat and cheese that was served with it along with the mustard dip was not good at all and we really aren’t that picky. We tried the cheese curds as well but may as well stick with Culver’s. The meatball sub was just meh. The wings were solid and the strawberry salad was also good. So, some hit and miss food items. The beers are overpriced at $9 a pint for nothing that special. Not likely coming back despite a great patio and decent atmosphere. Not horrible but the overall experience was not enough to bring us back. No real value and better food options to choose from...
Read moreFantastic dog friendly spot! We were staying at the Townplace Suites across the parking lot and we were looking for a place to have dinner and drinks. It was over 100 degrees but we had our dog with us - so we grabbed a table on the patio since I had read that it was dog friendly. An angel (a friendly employee) came out and told us that we were welcome to come inside with our dog. Being able to sit inside with our dog on such a hot day (after 10 hours of driving) alone may have been worth a 5 star rating - but we had delicious food and drinks in a cool atmosphere as well. We make this cross country trip a couple of times a year and we've never found a spot as relaxing and delicious - that is also dog friendly. It will be a part of our regular cross country route from now on. I highly recommend Global Brew Tap House as a great stop with or without a dog. Their beer selection is top notch and the pub food is...
Read moreUnfortunately, this will likely be my last visit to Global Brew.
I stopped by to pass some time before picking up my partner at the airport, but the service was shockingly poor. Sitting at the bar, I was repeatedly ignored by the red-haired bartender, who made eye contact with me several times but chose to chat with coworkers instead.
When the other bartender finally took my order, I asked for something listed on the wall, only to be curtly told, “I don’t have that.” I ordered something else, finished my drink, and waited with an empty glass for about 10 minutes. Despite being at the bar, I couldn’t get anyone’s attention.
What sealed the deal for me was watching the red-haired bartender promptly serve other guests sitting just a chair or two away, while continuing to ignore me. It felt personal, and I can’t recommend a place where customers are treated so...
