Good Ground Coffeehouse — Restaurant in O'Fallon

I'm not exactly sure when they open but it's still a very new experience. Everything is very clean and kind of disorganized at some points with all kinds of different colored chairs but I'm assuming that makes it more homely in a way? It was a very comfortable temperature inside even though it's less than 50 outside. There are lots of outlets and seating if you are amongst friends with technology. They have more refrigerator displays than they have food right now but I'm assuming that will change as they've been there longer. I bought some pumpkin bars and a caramel macchiato. I'm not sure if this is a Starbucks based macchiato but I'm about to find out. An actual macchiato like for real is nothing like what Starbucks makes. I stopped around 7:15 in the morning and there was one other customer there with me. I feel bad because they're literally hundreds of cars just yards away going into Scott Air Force Base and even if 10% of them stopped this place would be so busy. One can only hope with time that people will get more used to it being here...

I’m a Starbucks only kinda person and when I say I’ll keep coming back to good ground coffeehouse I mean it. The coffee is AMAZING. Glad I took the chance and tried it out. I also get a smoothie bowl and it’s so good&fresh. My daughter likes the protein balls and they are also very yummy. I tried the thai tea the first time I went and I’m very very picky about my thai tea… it was so good and very fresh. The owner is so nice and enjoyed talking with her. I appreciate the outstanding customer service. So if you’re thinking about go ahead...

Highly recommend! The ambiance is fantastic, the staff are engaging and joyful, and the coffee is clearly well sourced and carefully brewed, full bodied without being harsh.

The furnishing is a pleasant compromise between practical comfortability and classic coffee aesthetic.
