I want to say thank you to the young lady at the drive thru at your O'Fallon illinois restaurant at approx 1145. ( sorry I didn't get her name). As many people in our area had just experienced a terrible series of tornadoes. (Prayers to everyone) I wanted a quick bite to eat. Many restaurants had no power. I spotted Hawaiian Brothers was open so I came to your drive-thru. I was picking up lunch for a dear friend who is a storm victim. A tree fell into her family's home and into her kitchen. She had to go to work while her family started to clean up. She had no way to prepare a lunch to take to work. I was undecided on what to try, so I purchased 2 Honolulu chicken plates. It was fantabulous. My friend was amazed as well . I want to say thank you to the young lady for her cheerful and professional character. It was a nice and much needed experience after the brutal storms. I'm blessed that my family and I are safe. But many people have lost a lot. It was awesome to have an uplifting experience. She also helped me select 2 of your Hawaiian Sun juices. I'm now hooked on them, 😆. I will be looking at how to purchase the Hawaiian Sun lilikoi passion fruit juice by the case. It's a juice you can enjoy chilled or at room temperature. By the way, I had your sherbert last year, and it is out of this world. Thanks again, a faithful customer!!! Give that young...
Read moreI went to try this tonight for the first time and I still haven’t had it. Perhaps during the daytime it’s better but at 8:30 the works are I’ll just walk you to the self checkout and try and explain how to do it, instead of ringi by you up at the main register your standing at. I have a firm policy on not patronizing businesses that expect me to do the job of a paid employee. I will never be back, and that’s a shame as it smelled decent.
Update: I write this update as I’m sitting in Culver’s parking lot. I tried to have Hawaiian bros again tonight, and again I was the only one inline, young lady asked if I was new here. I said no as I walked up to the main cashiers desk and picked up a menu. She proceeded to walk outside and just stand outside by the front door. I waited a minute, looked around and found zero employees so I walked out, before I made it to my truck the young lady went back inside. I took it as she just didn’t want to wait on me. Unsure if not assisting and ringing up a customer is a store policy at this location or if it was a racial thing. (she was either on her phone or smoking as there where no cars in the inline pick up spots and she had no food in her hands).
Edwardsville location is far more friendly and has zero issue actually checking out the customer. I will never step foot in the ofallon location again. Customer service...

I wanted to like this. I got nearly one of everything on the menu because my daughter is home from college and she loves Hawaiian Brothers.
Let me say, ordering online was easy, but no details or notifications of when to pick up your order. I waited longer in-store than people who just walked in. The wonderful young lady at the counter advised me to only come about 2 minutes before your requested pick up time. I get it. She was awesome! Mahalo.
The Luau Pig is probably the best pulled pork in town. The mixed veggies were great...then... everything else. Maybe just call everything teriyaki chicken and ask to add a spice. It all tasted the same; it was over salted. Also, why offer rice when you pile an ounce of protein on two ounces of rice already. That's not very fair and misleading. I will say your rice is very good. The Mac was bland. The Spam thing was disgusting. Just call it seaweed and get it over with.
I really don't see any reason to go back or out of my way to go back...it's neat. If you've been to Hawaii, save your money and go to Jack in the Box and get a teriyaki bowl or Panda Express...or even better...support your local Ohana and eat local.
But wait, if the Bros are really reading this feedback and you want my business, we can save this. Put Loco Moco on your menu and we...
