The best part about this IHOP was leaving. We went there after my daughter's graduation because 54th street bar & grill had a 1.5 hour wait. In the end we could have waited at 54th street. We got to IHOP, there were 2 servers and the cook and supervisor working. Ok, due to the storm she had sent the rest of the staff home before we came. The waitress that we had took 10 minutes to come get our drink orders. She said it was just her and another waiter and there was a table of 9 that came in before us. Ok we had a group of 18 but we were celebrating 2 graduates so no rush. 20 minutes later our drinks were brought and orders were taken. At this point the waitress tells us that the other waitress was sent home and it was down to just her and 1 cook to care for the entire restaurant. This is where the biggest problem came from. Let me not forget another group of maybe 15 came in while our orders were being taken. It took almost 2 hours to get our food. Food was brought out in sections, some not coming out for 30 minutes after the 1st group got theirs. Kids had fell asleep waiting. Not only that but the adult orders were brought out before the kids. So we had to feed the kids off our plates to hold them over. By the time the childrens food came many were sleeping and cranky. One even came with just the burger on the plate and minutes later the fries in a to go box. We tried to make the best of it as we were celebrating graduation for my daughter but never again. It was very inconsiderate of the supervisor to send staff home when she saw big groups were coming in. The waitress called her daughter in to help, which we all questioned who she was as she came dressed in street clothes. That is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars because the waitress tried. The group that came in after us was still waiting on their food when...

This was my son’s birthday brunch, something he was excited to share with our family — and unfortunately, it turned into a complete disaster.
We called ahead and were told they don’t take reservations, just to come in and check the wait. We were quoted 20 minutes. We arrived with a party of over 12 and were assigned only one overwhelmed server. It took him over 35 minutes just to get drink orders, and many of them were wrong — “splashes” became plain Sprite with strawberries on the side, my grandmother asked for orange juice and got apple, and four people never got their drinks at all (but were still charged).
Then the food issues began. One sister had to send her eggs back three times due to cheese being added against her request. Another sister arrived last but was served first, while my daughter and four others waited over an hour and a half — only to receive the wrong food.
I began recording the chaos in the kitchen and the condition of our food. That’s when the hostess angrily told the manager I was filming — and only then did he come over to speak with us. He promised to “take care of everything.” He didn’t. A second server eventually stepped in, but she combined everything into one ticket and completely messed up the bill.
When I addressed this again with the manager, he tried to blame the server. Meanwhile, we had waited nearly an hour just for utensils, were told they were “out” of spoons and forks, and eventually handed visibly dirty silverware.
After all this, the manager only took 10% off the total bill. For a ruined birthday brunch and multiple service failures, that was beyond unacceptable.
We will never return, and I will absolutely be contacting corporate. This was one of the worst dining experiences...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. Let me start by saying I come to this IHOP once or twice weekly. Its normally decent. But today my experience was one of a kind. I came in and ordered my food at 8:39 am and after 25 minutes of waiting I asked could I just get a refund if the food wasn't ready. They went to the back to check on it and said it was being bagged up. I ordered the Split Decision with scrambled eggs and Turkey bacon being that I don't eat pork. They bring the food out 5-10 minutes later and I proceed to my car. I noticed when I opened it there was pork sausage pork bacon and hash-brown none of what I ordered. I return inside and ask for a refund. They take the bag along with receipts and the manager Greg comes out to speak with me. I told him the problem he said he couldnt give me a refund because the wait wasnt long. I explained to him the time I had waited and he looked on his computer and basically said I was lying because his computer said something different and he could give me a refund. So he goes to the back to remake the food and im trying to get my reciept to prove to him I knew I had waited 25 min before complaining. I asked someone to give me the paper I signed. I finally got that copy because Greg said he couldn't give me that and that proved the time the order was placed. However, when I got that receipt my order was 14.53 and I gave a 5.00 tip when I got the print out from Greg it stated 20.53 so now someone took a extra dollar from my card. Greg came back with fresh good never apologized that he was wrong but he wanted to know who gave me the receipt. Its sad that I have to experience all this and then they steal a $1 as well. I will not ever go here again this is sad and I will take the to...
