Mandy's — Restaurant in O'Fallon

I really enjoyed the bar for a few minutes. I decided to use the gambling machines as I had some spare time. I won a decent amount and was thrilled, but when I went to cash out the machine was broken. I figured this happens, and spoke to the bartender. She was drinking at the bar. It seemed that she had been doing this for a long time. She said that this is a third party system and I’d need to come back tomorrow to deposit my ticket and receive my money. I don’t believe this is okay? If your machines can’t produce money, why would you allow people to gamble? I explained my thoughts and said this did not feel okay. The bartender who was drinking yelled at me, yelled at my wife, and did not offer me any options for reimbursement. The whole experience was fine until we found out we could not add a tip on the card. No one in our group had cash to tip the bartender. No signs at the bar said cash tips only. Apparently the bartender decided to complain to other customers who followed us out to our cars and tried to berate us into giving a tip with cash we did not have. They stood behind our car and would not let us leave until they belittled and harassed us for not leaving a tip. This went on for at least 5 minutes until they realized we were not going to fight them or give them any cash because we didn’t have any. Sorry we couldn’t help the bar commit tax fraud by only accepting cash tips so they don’t have to report them. We would have happily tipped on the credit card...

At first I walked in and thought the atmosphere and vibes were great. After drinking for a while I decided to hit the gaming machines. When I decided to cash out I was told the cash out machine wasn’t working. I asked the bartender for the money and she told me it wasn’t her job to pay me. After several minutes of arguing, I said that this felt like a SCAM. With that comment the bar went crazy. The bartender berated me with strong language, and other patrons yelled at my wife. When I cashed out my check to leave the bartended continues to yell profanities and threw my credit card back at me.
