Oak Roads Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Oak Grove

Definitely the best breakfast in the area. Never have has any issues with any of their breakfast food! It's always delicious, plentiful, and service is always wonderful! I've only had a few burgers and they've always been great! Tonight I decided to mix it up and go with their "JUMBO" wings, which by definition, there's nothing "JUMBO" about them when you compare them to Route 65s JUMBO wings. (Wing and flat attached, served as 1). But I was okay with it when they arrived. Until I bit into them. They were overcooked, almost by 3 or 4 minutes is my guess, and there was almost 0 sauce on them. So I asked the server if I could get a side of Buffalo sauce to actually coat the wings and she was 100% happy to do so! Got the sauce, poured it over the rest of my wings, and... turns out the sauce I was given is kept in the fridge. Turned all my wings ice cold and inedible. Server was great to ask how it was and noticed that I didn't eat any more after she brought the sauce and I had to be honest... it was awful. She was great, I still left a tip as if we paid for the wings, but if that's their definition of JUMBO wings... either change the menu description, or change the product. And please... never give a customer ice cold sauce to put on hot food. Chef Microwave can do wonders...

This is the second time we came to eat here. The service was very slow the first time but the food was pretty good so we decided to give it another try. First issue was when my wife ordered her drink they didn't have the ingredients to make it. Oddly enough the first time we went, they didn't have what she wanted either. We then ordered and after 20 min I asked for my salad. The server looked at me and said I will see if it's ready. I wondered how long could it take to throw some lettuce on a plate. She came back and said she always forgets about the middle table we were sitting at. Of course I wasn't done before my meal arrived. I ordered chicken. Once I cut into it I noticed it was raw and not just a little. She took it back and 15 min later had a new plate for me. By that time I was Leary about eating it so I didn't touch it. I have eaten at this place four times since they opened. The last time was last weekend and I have to say that every time I leave there I ask myself why I gave this place another chance. The food was terrible, I don't know if it's because it's old outdated food or the cook doesn't know how to cook or what but I can honestly tell you that two times out of the four times that I've been there I felt nauseous after I left there for a good 24 hours because I believe that I got a mild case of food poisoning because I think the food is bad or outdated. I keep trying to get this place another chance but every time I eat there I swear I'll never eat there again. I eat out at least twice a week and normally the places I go the food is pretty good and sometimes it's over the top good but this is one place I would recommend that you...
