Ate here 5 different times throughout the week. First night it took forever to get our food- server was Kylie. Next 2 nights our server was Micaela. She was great. We got our food fast and everything was great food wise. There was an ant in my drink but she got me a fresh one. Night four wasn't so great though. We got food poisoning! We both ordered the black Angus burger. It tasted burnt so only ate half and took the rest to go but later it came back up so leftovers went in the trash. Our waitress wasn't the best. She stood awkwardly at the table like waiting for us to hand her our card. Every other night we've went up to the counter to pay. She never asked us how everything was. She never even brought us the burger it was another waitress. Went in the next day to let them know we got food poisoning and the manager said he'd never heard that before. They get their burgers pre-packaged! BUT they'd make sure to check the dates. Like they weren't checking the dates before serving them to people?!?! Day 5 we got pizza and told them about the food poisoning. The pizza was okay but it's not really $40 pizza. Wasn't good pizza the next day.

After spending over $358. Not including tips or just drinks at this establishment, I would have appreciated to not be dismissed over them giving us food poisoning. A simple oh we're sorry just doesn't cut it when you throw your guts up and have burger come out of your nose for 20...

BIGFOOTS REVENGE!

We had dinner here last night as a group of 9 people. We arrived and sat down and immediately recognized service would be slow. There appeared to only be two waiters for the entire place, but we weren’t in a hurry so that was fine.

Our drinks took almost 20 minutes and were mostly ok…although the Tito’s and Tonic was not right at all. Tasted liked super cheap vodka and water. Was hard to get refills on anything, but we understood how busy our waitress was!

Appetizers were fine - no complaints. Dinners arrived and were as ordered! The salads were ok, trout was said to be very good and 2 people had the “Bigfoot sandwich”. This is where it goes really wrong.

We paid our bill and left knowing it was a sub average experience…but nothing we would truly complain about - until 2 people in our group experienced severe stomach distress and diarrhea the same night. Coincidentally they ate the same sandwich…the Bigfoot. Having 2 people in our group get sick was the clincher for this review.

We are a group of individuals who happen to own a restaurant. We are SO forgiving of the issues of being short staffed and things taking longer. But with that being said if you compromise our health with poor quality food we WILL feel compelled to leave a review.

There is a lot of improvement that could happen here, but most importantly only serve safe food to...

The Lost Paddle is one of Fayette County's hidden gems. Located on ACE Adventure Resort's property on Concho road, Minden West Virginia. You can indulge in exquisite food and drink. They carry all of your favorite beverages from Hawk Knob Appalachian Hard Cider, Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company, Freefolk Brewery, Bridge Brew Works, and all others like Coors, Budweiser, Pabst, and various wines.

The food is PHENOMENAL! They have REAL brick pizza ovens which rival if not out perform other pizzerias in the area. Wings, sandwiches, salads, fries, and burgers are available as well.

They are open in the "offseason" on Fridays and Saturdays from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. They're open every day of the week during peak season.

Local folks should take due notice thereof and add this place to their weekly restaurant visits. This is a bar and grill restaurant like Applebee's, Chili's, or Outback. Feel free to bring the whole family and enjoy the atmosphere.

I've never witnessed any dangerous situations or over served customers.

A wonderful place to spend the evening.

Remember to tip...

We have been here twice now. The first time was for dinner, and then they are doing Trivia on Friday nights for the season. The food was good and the trivia was a lot of fun. Their menu is limited being off-season but still has a good selection. The only con was that they only had one server, and they definitely needed more. She didn't come back to ask how our food was or if we needed to order anything else. We understood that she was running around like crazy though. That's why they need an extra server or 2 so you can properly attend to your customers. We will go back for sure and come summer we will try out the water park. We would definitely recommend going here.
