Rocco's Pizza — Restaurant in Oakdale

I used to love this place until.today dec 23,2023 at 8:05 pm. I ordered a pepperoni and mushroom medium. Got to Rocco's then they told us they made the wrong pizza we fine. My wife and I were parked outside watched them make our pizza and other pizzas. One guy was walking around with a candy cane in his mouth eating it and watched him put our pizza together while his eating this candy cane over the pizza. Then the manager puts the pizza in the oven . They start eating the pizza they made by mistake on the area where pizzas get cut. I saw the manager stuff a hole slice down mouth and then cut our pizza eating over it and then candy cane brings our pizza out to us with food stuffed in his mouth giving us a look like we did the worst thing possible ordering pizza. We did not eat the pizza we tossed it in the trash as soon as we got home. The manager guy was stuffing his fingers in his mouth touching pizzas bad for business. Never going there again Rocco's was the best. Bad practice very disappointed. My wife and I were sitting in our truck just dumbfounded on what we're seeing. I thought about going in and cancelling just did not want to get into a argument. Once we got the pizza I was like we ain't gonna eat this we tossed in the garbage and called another place total difference. Never seen that the manager stuffing a whole slice of pizza in his mouth while cutting a pizza and picking his teeth over pizzas he was cutting. Then the candy cane guy just in awe he brought the pizza out mouth full of food mean mugging us nothing to say thank you for ordering looking at us like we did the worse thing possible. Rocco's how many pizzas have people eating without knowing what these idiots do thats gross. We were excited to try this pizza place after receiving a mailer stating we were in their delivery area. We made an online order at 3:00 pm for delivery at 6:30 pm that day. Around 6:40 pm I called to confirm they had our order and it was on its way. The unfriendly guy who answered said “what was the total on the order” after telling him he said “uh, yeah it’s out for delivery.” I said ok and hung up. At 7:00 pm I called and go the same guy. I asked if their deliveries were behind. He just said “yeah.” I asked “how far behind, 45 minutes, an hour?” He said “uh like 40 minutes.” I said “ok” and before I could say anything else he said “yeah ok bye.” At 7:30 pm (an hour later) my husband called and got another guy and my husband stated we were extremely annoyed with waiting an hour after our delivery time. This guy actually asked our address. After getting our address this guy stated “our food was in the oven and about to come out in 5 minutes!!” Now we knew this other guy never even checked!! My husband demanded a refund and told them this was completely unacceptable. This guy didn’t seem to care and just told my husband it would take 2 days for a refund. My lady bought some goofy Chicago style pizza that she should’ve never bought in the first place. This pizza is horrible plain n simple. Either the cook messed up making my pizza extremely doughy or this place has absolutely no knowledge of what pizza is. I have never in my life had pizza this doughy before. EVER! The fact they have deep dish then a Chicago style pizza is confusing and indictment to the lack of experience of Chicago pizza. Seriously this place is trash and my lady should’ve done a better job looking up reviews of this place. Knowing that Carbone’s and Pizza Luce exist you gotta be a fool or a relative to support this place. I have no problem driving 15 minutes to get some good pizza.
