The pizza and the service were great at this little pizza place just outside of the entrance to Yosemite. We stayed at the Blue Butterfly Inn tucked away on the river behind the property of the more expansive lodge. Nice to have the option of bringing pizza back to the Inn to eat or eat at Parkside, which we did. It's pretty unassuming, which we liked: you stand in line to order a pizza, find a table to sit at, and they bring it to you. The line was long, but the pizza came out quickly, and the service is attentive and friendly - well worth waiting in line! The crust was cooked just right and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Eat outside, if you can - the weather on the evening we were there was heavenly. The inside has several tables in it, but the atmosphere outside is...

We LOVED the pizza here! I chose a medium sausage, onion, and green peppers pizza with extra pizza sauce, along with a side of cheesesticks and ranch, and it was some of the best pizza we've had in recent years! The pizza was hot, full of toppings, and cooked to perfection. The cheesesticks looked boring and small in the box but were loaded with flavor! The ranch was the "good ranch" (iykyk). The service was top-notch. The gentleman taking my order was efficient, friendly, and devoted to making my experience a positive one. The food came out in 15 minutes and was given to me by a nice younger woman. Sure, the price is on the higher side (it was $30 for a medium pizza and cheesesticks) but the quality was obvious, making it worth it in the end. We would gladly...

I’d be able to give this a fair star rating if they were ever actually open per the posted hours. When we arrived, they told us it was open on the weekends - Friday - Sunday. We walked over that evening (Sunday), place was dark, so we asked the front desk. They said oh no they’re only open Friday and Saturday. I told them their signage says otherwise and they should change it (literally the flyer on the front desk and on the door to the place). Friday rolls around and we try to go again. Place is dark. We ask the front desk, and this time they say it’s open Saturday - Thursday depending on the occupancy level of the lodge. If you’re closed for the season, just say so. Don’t give your guests the run around and ruin their...

Yosemite could really use some decent food options. There's really nothing good in the area. This looked to have the best Yelp reviews I could find so we came here the first night. We got a large pizza, half chicken alfredo and half chicken cordon blue. On the positive side, the crust was way better than I expected. I really enjoyed it. The pizza itself was dry though. I couldn't taste any sauce and you would think alfredo and ranch would be noticable flavors. I did like the chicken cordon blue slightly more. A large was plenty for two people. We ended up not eating it all since we didn't really like it. We found a sandwich shop in Yosemite Valley (Degnans Kitchen) with free wifi that was better, so we didn't come back here.

Pizza was pretty good and staff was attentive and helpful. Crust was cooked well and the pizza had good flavor overall. Personally, I thought there was too much cheese and it overpowered the taste of the pizza sauce and other ingredients, but my wife thought it was fine. The interior is dingy and dirty - not a place you really want to sit and eat. Ironically for a pizza place, you have to ask for parmesan and red pepper flakes. They have a side table with ketchup, mayo, mustard, and soy sauce. Not sure why those are there and why the basic pizza toppings aren’t. I saw multiple people look confused and ask for parmesan and red pepper flakes. Paid $53 for two medium pizzas which is way overpriced but expected in this area.

We ate here twice whilst staying at Yosemite View Lodge (the hotel that this restaurant is located at). The pizzas are REALLY good, they are expensive in my opinion (about $25 once you add a few toppings) but there are very limited options in the area. We tried a pepperoni pizza one evening and a pesto chicken the next. The staff are helpful and they offer unlimited refills on soft drinks and all the condiments you could want. There is also a nice outdoor seating area which we ate at one evening and the other we took the pizza back to our room balcony. I would definitely suggest eating here over the restaurant next door.
