Being southern new jerseys foremost authority on the subject I took the opportunity to stop in and educate the locals about the Jersey Devil. I was blown away by the staff as well as the unexpected delicious food. Half the menu looked like standard bar fare while the other half looked to be authentic Caribbean. I am so glad I tried the jerk chicken as it was second only to Scotchies. If you like hot sauce make sure to get Steve's homemade sauce. It will burn your face off and it is the perfect sauce for the jerk seasoning 10/10 will come out of my way to come back.

An awesome super friendly place to come. Welcomes everyone. Very unique place. The grill has a Caribbean flare, with curried onion burgers and stewed chicken. They make their rum punches on site and they're refreshing and taste authentic. They have many events and lots of live music. The bar is ridiculously clean. Can't really go wrong here, whether you're flying solo or running with friends. Can even bring kids earlier in the night. If you like cheese steak get the Jerk cheese steak! Crazy good comfort food that one. And the service is super friendly!

This is such a great place to spend weekend nights. I just love the jerk chicken fingers and chicken curry roti the most!! The chef is super awesome and so are her daughter and other 2 hosts. They just make you feel so good and take good care of you. The karaoke nights are so fun and entertaining.

I have been coming to this place regularly since moving to Wayne 4 yrs ago. Owners Steve and Miriam Hansil are warm and welcoming (even young folks pay their respects on entering). The food is phenomenal: Steve is Indian from Trinidad so Indian and Caribbean jerk are solid features, well done. Chicken and shrimp jerk is one of my favorites, as are the roti dishes. Miriam is from Puerto Rico and brings that Spanish Caribbean vibe to the menu. Ropa vieja could feed 2... Then, there is the rare fact that they actively support live music. Every Wed is a high quality rock and blues open mic which I seldom miss. I am not a fan of karaoke, but if you are, show up on Thurs nite. Many Fridays and Saturdays feature live bands from the greater area. Don't be put off by the biker-bar looking exterior: this is a relaxed place that welcomes families at dinner or lunch. Gave this place 3 chances. I'll give them that the food is decent. First I waited 10 minutes before I had to ASK the waitress for a menu. But holy crap how long do I have to wait for the food? I was there for hour and a half and still didn't receive my sandwich I ordered sat there empty handed and not checked on once. I left without my order. I didn't get any upadates on my food. No apologies or anything. Instead I was ignored and walked away from when I asked about it. If I could give this place a zero I would. I'm so happy to give out great reviews but wow this was a...
