Supporting local on date night at Oakland Tavern. They have some of the best hot sandwiches around. Bloody Mary's are the bomb. #foryourpage #supportlocal #crystal97470 #oregon #oakland #oaklandtavern @Mike Renteria #mrmechanix #mrwolf

The O.T. , as it is fondly know by locals, has awesome sandwiches along with drinks, of course. They are a friendly Tavern loaded with history. It has been operating as a Tavern since the late 1800's! They have tacos on Tuesdays, and often times have live entertainment on weekend evenings. Plus make sure you make time to visit the nifty antiques & other shops in town. The Museum is awesome too! Exit 140 off of Hwy 5 heading south or exit 138 heading north~ Less than a mile or so from the I-5 exits!

I enjoyed one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time here! I had the OT Grindr it was done to perfection definitely order it again! Play some very clean restrooms were very nice and probably the nicest Men's Room I've been into well decorated very clean. Would recommend coming to this place I would go back again.

Ive tried most,of their sandwhiches and I dont hate, any of them! My fave is the OT Grinder but second fave is the turkey bacon club. My mom loves the French dip and the clam chowder we all love, I think its Friday obly for the chowder. Lots of tvs to watch games on, pool tables to play, you can gamble on machines. Servers are super nice and friendly, sometimes it does get crazy busy but the cook busts out the sandwhiches fast and the drinks are always full. I think once we waited like 20 min for sandwhiches but it was seriously full there and 1 server running the bar and tables so no complaints here. Food is always piping hot and delicious every time. Best time to come is when they open around 11-1130. After work gets busy, about 5 to close. Bloody...

Our server didn't smile even when I tried to get a smile ..after the kitchen a staff brought my order out I sat in the booth for atleast 7-8 minutes then approached the bar area and waited an additional couple of minutes for our server to cash me out...but the server went on about doing chores , talking to others so I finally went down the bar to get the server to help me...still attitude, so I brought it to the servers attention an acted like I was wrong....good food but the service sucks...lost my business til that server is gone..I will also add suggest to my friends not to give that server any tip...
