Family of 3 received terrible service and raw food. A lady came to take our drink & appetizer order. We informed her - Dr. Pepper no ice, Melon Water no ice, Peach Lemonade no ice, white cheese sauce. A man arrived and set the drinks (with ice in them) on the end of the table and dashed away. The lady came back and took our order - Combo#5 ($10), Combo#6 ($10), Tres Ribeye ($28) cooked medium cheese on the side. I also mentioned our drinks have ice and we requested no ice and asked if we could get the white cheese sauce appetizer before the meal. She didn't say anything just walked off. The man delivered our dinner plates and dashed away. He didn't wait to see if everything was okay or if my steak was cooked correctly.... it wasn't. It was cooked to a cool raw, not medium. We didn't see anyone until the man dropped our ticket on the table while we were talking with a friend. We never did get the white cheese sauce appetizer we ordered or the cheese that was supposed to come with the steak. When we went to pay, it was the same guy who dropped the drinks, food, & ticket. I tried to tell him what went wrong but he was all he did was snap back - You didn't say anything was wrong. I told him - I would have if someone would have checked on us!
For $58, we should have drove the 30 miles west and gone to El...
Read moreRestaurant appeared to be very clean - the bathroom looked spotless. There was only one server (I think we were there around 2:00, between meal rushes) but it was fairly busy and he was on the run keeping up with everyone. Appreciated his service. I give him 5 stars.
The food was okay, but nothing special. Especially my husband's burrito plate which was meh. Bland, with no lettuce and tomato on top of the burrito either. We expect Mexican food to have some kick, but he said it was very plain. 3 stars was generous he said.
I had a taco salad, it was good, but hardly any lettuce. A lot of shredded chicken though. I wanted a salad because I carved fresh ingredients. Maybe they had a lettuce shortage 🤷🏼. 4...

I stopped in Oakley, Kansas on my way back from Kansas City to Redmond, Washington. I was driving our daughter and son-in-law’s car and their dog Chuggy, a Great Pyrenees. We stayed with our son-in-law’s mother for the night. She treated us to dinner at the restaurant.
The waitress was awesome.
I ordered Camarones Al Paraiso, along with a Tecate beer. The dish came with Spanish rice, beans, and flour tortillas.
The food was exceptional. The portion was a bit much, but not excessively so. The beer and the shrimp dish were a perfect match.
