J★ROCKS OCALA — Restaurant in Ocala

About 3 weeks ago we discovered the brunch on Saturdays and Sundays! It is a great experience. The passion is all the way there. Our server Audrey did a phenomenal job! She was available and accommodating and she also gave us our space. I'm the type of customer where I appreciate a little space while I'm dining and she already had that level of intuition without me saying a word. Prices are great definitely worth a visit if you're in the Ocala area. Thanks Audrey 💕

UPDATE: Today June 1st, I didn't want to call (yall are usually busy around lunch) and I didn't want to leave a Google review so I figured an email would be best form of contact. I did try to use the form on your website but the email section of the form was saying that my email is not valid. When I called, I was told that you guys are busy and to leave a message and I haven't heard anything back.

I am still a huge fan of J☆Rocks Pizzeria! Normally I love to dine-in. If I'm in the area, I'll stop in and have lunch or dinner. Today I was home, but I had a taste for that amazing food so I ordered on GrubHub. I was very disappointed that there wasn't more protection on the pizza box. My pizza wasn't in a bag or taped shut, so it wasn't tamper-proof. None of the order was TAMPER-PROOF. As a customer, I would appreciate some sort of protection for the orders? I personally have stopped eating at certain places because they don't protect the orders or provide some sort of tamper-proofing. I also understand it's a risk just using delivery services all together but the "tamper proofing" allows you to at least know if someone tampered with your food you know? I am also disappointed that I had to leave it in a Google review like this I usually have a great experience at the establishment.

Just a friendly suggestion. I still love J☆Rocks and hope to see the improvement for delivery orders...

Went with my husband and our 2 kids. Very welcoming and friendly staff! It was our first time there. We didn’t know it was just a brunch menu, but they let my kids still get pizza. Kids each got a personal pizza. They got to make it themselves at the table and had a blast doing so! The kid cups were fun to them too. The pizza tasted amazing. That pizza sauce is 🔥!! Can’t wait to order my own pizza next time we visit! Our waitress was very attentive and so sweet. I wish I had gotten her name to put on this review! I got a lemon blueberry mimosa that had the perfect balance of tart and sweet. Kids got apple juice and husband ordered the sweet tea. Husband said the sweet tea was very good. Service was quick and the food came out hot and fresh. Husband ordered the breakfast burger and subbed a burger patty in place of the sausage patty. He said there was too much mayo for his taste, but that it didn’t ruin his meal. The burger patty was nice and thick and was seasoned well. Came with a hefty amount of fries and ketchup on the side. I ordered the shrimp po boy. It came with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and the jalapeño aioli. The aioli reminded me of the bang bang sauce from bonefish, but less “spicy”. Perfect ratio of shrimp, sauce, and toppings. My meal came with fries and ketchup as well. I like that the fries aren’t heavily seasoned (like checkers or Arby’s fries). All throughout the meal different staff, including our waitress, were checking in with us to make sure we were enjoying our experience there and had everything we needed. I stumbled across this place because I was on duty for a third party delivery service. I walked in the door to this pizzeria that looked inviting, but was anything but. I stood around waiting for someone, anyone to greet me. Finally a young women asked if she could help me. I said yes I am here to pick up order XYZ, she turns around and the older lady with short wavy auburn hair proceeded to tell me in a very annoyed and nasty tone that " She is working on it !!!!" So, I just moved along towards the cashier area and waited. Then a tall older man asked if he could help me. I asked if the order was being prepared or if it was already cooking or waiting to be packaged. Wow, I must have said something horrible!! He says in a " what the hell is wrong with you attitude" and very loud tone " I DID NOT HIT THE CONFIRM BUTTON SO IT IS NOT READY FOR PICK UP! I don't know what is wrong with you guys (meaning the 3rd party delivery service) but it isn't ready till i hit the button and i haven't dont that, so you will have to wait." So, with that said and having felt very offended that I did not belong there, I proceeded to unassigned the delivery and submit a ticket. I have never been to this establishment before and I do not plan on ever returning, nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone. Hopefully, this place learns that even though we may not be patrons at the moment, we are still possible future customers. And word of mouth is huge in the customer service industry.
