Best fries you will ever have. They are literally flakey crispy yummy goodness. Their fish is surprisingly amazing, (crispey flavorful delicate and juicy) but most of all their grits are to absolutely die for. You know how when you get grits you have to put butter, salt, pepper, etc.? Well with their cheese grits, they're absolutely perfect as is. LITERALLY. Perfect balance of salt, butter, and cheese. I could probably eat their grits everyday for life haha. And I'm always altering my food to how I like it. Their only downfall is their sweet tea isn't that sweet but that's me being picky. The server we had was great. I ordered catfish filets, they came out not quite done. Which was fine, I asked others at my table if they thought they were done and all said no. So I politely and very quietly informed the sever. She was very friendly about the situation, took them back and brought out some that were done. All is well, until the cook decided to come out and inform me and the whole restaurant that my fish were done and if I wanted them crispy I should have asked for them crispy. I did not necessarily need them crispy, I just needed them to be cooked to where they looked done. If I would have wanted uncooked fish I would have went to a sushi restaurant. Small rustic seafood restaurant in downtown Ochlocknee Ga. Overall good experience. Service was timely and food was good. I found the atmosphere to be a bit dull with no music or background noise for ambiance. The place isn’t the cleanest with cardboard in the front windows blocking the sun and some general wear and tear leave the place looking a little tired. The seafood looked nice and was cooked fresh, little on the greasy side but decent overall especially for the price. Compared to most seafood I think you definitely get your monies worth.
