If you're looking for a dinner spot that's been 'poppin' for over two decades, Rosa's is the place to be! I recently sought shelter from a rainy night and found myself in a foodie paradise. The wine selection is so affordable, I had to double-check to make sure I wasn't dreaming. The entrees are no joke - they could easily feed a small army, let alone a medium-sized family! I tackled the Fettuccine with shrimp and let me tell you, I barely made a dent before waving the white flag of delicious defeat. The service is as warm and inviting as the portions are generous, but be prepared to chat it up with your fellow diners - this place is a hub of activity! Needless to say, I'll be returning with an empty stomach and a heart full of anticipation. Cheers to Rosa's for keeping the good times and great food rolling for all these years!

A gem in the middle of nowhere (between Rogers City and Cheboygan on US 23). GREAT server Michelle took good care of us. We arrived on Friday night at about. 5:15 and the place was nearly empty but by the time we left after 7pm, they were waiting outside. Although there was a wait for our meals, you won't be disappointed with the quality or quantity. See the photos, HUGE portions, we all took some home.

Worst valentine's day ever. Washers for hour and half never food. Saladwas only thing served and it was all cores. Everyone was clueless. Don't waste time or money. This was our first and last time. McDonald's would have been better. Picture is salad. Pretty sad. Waitress told us after waiting hour and half that our ticket was misplaced. Worst place around. And it's valentine's day.

I really don’t know how to rate our experience at Rosa’s. We arrived at 7:00 pm on a Saturday night. There were plenty of tables and we didn’t wait too long to be seated. They originally seated us in the back large dining room. Unfortunately, there was a large group of adults (probably 18-20 people in the 40 and up age range) who were obnoxiously loud and all talking over top of one another. We asked the server to move us and probably 15 minutes or so later we were moved to the middle dining room. Then we waited and waited. Literally 2 hours from the time we arrived until we received our food. The food was hot and very cheesy. We all three ordered something different. Our salads and bread were very good. The entrees were cooked well but were rather bland. I had the chicken Florentine and it was cooked well, the chicken was tender and there was a lot of cheese. My husband had a sampler and said everything was good, just not exceptional. Same for my sister’s dinner who ordered a trio of chicken. She didn’t care for the garlic chicken because she said it was lacking in flavor but there was a lot of cheese. Cheese was really good. I’m not saying there was too much cheese. Cheese is good. Food was good. If you like Italian food, I would definitely recommend. I understand they serve pizza on Thursdays and our neighbor says they...

What a disappointment! We have been here several times before and food and service were excellent. So my husband and I decided to celebrate our anniversary by going here. Big mistake!!! We were seated right away. Once at our table we waited 20 mins just to be acknowledged we were there, then the waitress came and took our drink order coffee and pop only and our dinner order. It took another 20 mins to get drinks, salad and bread basket. Never refilled drinks even though she told me she would be right back and after 50 mins waiting for dinner we told hostess who was clearing table next to us that we were leaving as we had now been waiting an hour and a half for our dinner. She apologized saying they were short staffed. If they are short staffed don’t seat everyone and take your order. And don’t tell customers you’re short staffed after the fact. She should have been helping the wait staff by refilling drinks and even running food out if it was ready. We understand about the employee situations but have never received...

This restaurant is by far the best I have ever eaten at. I loved it so much I ended up working there for about a year back in 2003-2004. I lived up in Northern Michigan for many years and would eat there as much as I could. I now live in Port Huron, Michigan and crave their food all the time, especially the salad dressing! I have told so many people about Rosa's and how great the whole experience can be. Last time I ate there was in 2014 and everything was great besides the service. Was a new employee, so by the time we finally ate our dinner it was 3 hours later. Wasn't real impressed, but being a server myself for most my life, I was patient mostly because it's worth the wait!!!! Michelle is a great asset to the place all around. Always nice to see her still there. Only thing that needs work is making sure they hire experienced waitstaff so that it doesn't take so long to finally eat. I still give it a 5 star rating!!!! See you...
