Carnitas El Peque — Restaurant in Odessa

I watched 👀 a post on tik tok talking about how good the food was here, specially the Chicharrones.

I drove from Midland, to the other side of Odessa (approx; 35 min) to try them. We arrived and the lady upfront said they didn't have any.

I thought it was probably because they had sold out, nope, she said they didn't make any that day (09/04/24)

We ordered a Torta, and some tacos. Food was delicious, and the horchata and agua de melon was as well.

During our stay there, 15 other people walked in asking for Chicharrones as well. They all seemed disappointed when they were given the same answer.

As soon as we walked in a sweet young lady welcomed us. I told her it was my first time I saw it on TikTok and she recommended a few of her favorite things we got the pieces of chicharrón, and a pound of meat carnitas buche and cueritos it came with 10 tortillas salsa and avocado. It was Delicious!!! And the horchata was also very good. I really wanted to try the barbacoa but they didn’t have any 😩 it was ok we can always drive another 2 hrs lol definitely coming back if I’m passing by. 10/10 on...

The best food… absolutely unforgettable. Their chicharrones are hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. You can tell they take real pride in preparing them. And the quesataco? Wow. Cheesy, savory, and perfectly balanced with tender meat. This place has quickly become one of our favorites, and look forward to our next visit.
