The Grill Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Odessa

My wife and I were looking for local place after a long, long day of being trapped inside. We decided to go to CUATRO as it is only five minutes from our home. The "restaurant" is really like an upscale 19th hole. The views of the 18th green and the golf course were a fantastic add to the evening. Some would call the views romantic, to include us. We were a couple minutes late for the happy hour (4 pm to 7 pm) but the two (2) people who served us made up for our tardiness as they were prompt and attentive. In the dinner room area were two families of four, us, and three gentlemen who appeared to have finished up an afternoon on the course. We took advantage of the Tuesday night special, 3 Tacos for $10. Of course, Taco Tuesday...dah! The regular price is $14. We had one of each (shrimp, beef and pork). The order came with sour cream, some salsa and tri-color chips. The server brought us additional sour cream and salsa at no additional charge. This is a very nice touch given some places want to nickel and dime the customer for that extra. The tacos were well balanced with substance (shrimp, beef and pork) and the "rabbit food" - lettuce, etc. The food was favorable, hot but not overly spicy hot, filling and good. oh my goodness! I Googled best Bloody Mary near me now. Three places popped up this was one of three. I opted out on the other two. I had never heard of this place. Had no idea it was in a Country Club type setting which just so happens to be available to the public. Definitely was not dressed for the occasion! To say the least. There was so very nice to me. I relaxed in the back with a beautiful view of the most gorgeous golf course I've ever seen. Granted I haven't seen many but this is amazing! The wonderful bartender who waited on me it was a man. His wife had just had a baby a couple days before. He was Johnny on the spot! Best Bloody Mary up ever had in my whole entire life. Hands down! I definitely recommend this place like times 1000. Wonderful staff. Did I mention the Bloody Mary was the best I've ever had? Also had an appetizer. Not ridiculously expensive at all. $6 Bloody Mary's on Sunday matter fact. That's great! On the outside this place can be a little intimidating and even a little "cold," but don't let that distract you from the wonderful food and beautiful views you could be enjoying once you get inside.

The food is OUTSTANDING! Best grouper sandwich I've ever had...and I am a part time fishing captain and avid fisherman, so I know good quality fish when try it, and what me and my wife had at Cuatro was definitely fresh, top grade quality Grouper. It was cooked to perfection as well, flaky and delicious!

Many people either over cook or under cook fish, but this sandwich was truly superb... And those french fries... My wife and I could not stop eating them. I don't know what you put on them, but they were amazing. Without a doubt best french fries I've EVER HAD.

Move aside Mc Donald's and Checkers... Cuatro has the best french...
