Iâll give it a two because my first trip here was pretty good. The food was pretty good for bar food, the drinks were decent, and the vibe was comfortable. I had nachos, a 57 Chevy (alcoholic drink), and my partner in crime had a burger. The service was subpar, but we werenât in a rush, so it wasnât an issue.
Unfortunately, my second trip to the bar was nowhere near as pleasant. I went out with a group of friends to have a nice night out during the tail end of our vacation. Service was subpar as usual, but it was expected. We started off ordering drinks and we didnât get much further than that. All of our IDs were checked and my state issue ID apparently was no longer valid? I showed my conceal carry permit as well to give her two forms of ID to examine and confirm my age. She mentioned this was a problem and neither were acceptable from what she understood, but she offered to check. (It wasnât a problem during my prior visit.)
According to the server, who was polite enough in this rather uncomfortable situation, only Drivers Licenses and Military IDs were valid forms of identification. Unfortunately, due to a medical condition, my state confiscated my license and gave me an identification card so I can still prove my age. It was very frustrating to be turned away from responsibly purchasing an alcoholic beverage, even with two forms of ID present.
The group of friends I was with decided to head out with me without making a purchase. This is the first time Iâve ever been turned away due to a two valid licenses not being good enough....

We found Lighthouse on Google; but when we arrived it became clear it was a bar. And then I remembered this being one of my old bar hopping stomping grounds in the mid-70âs!! Unsure if we would stay or not, we 3 pioneers of the Woodstock generation decided to chance it! WELL!! At first glance upon entering we noticed a HUGE long table of working guys. Then we sat down in the corner, still not knowing what to expect. We were greeted by a super sweet waitress forewarning is it may be awhile due to the huge table of men that arrived just before us. OKAY long story made a bit shorter: the chicken quesadilla was fabulous and the phili cheesesteak sandwiches were AMAZING, not to mention photo worthy!!!! We will DEFINITELY be back! We met Chef MARIAH and let her know how awesome and delicious her food was!!! Oh- oh-oh!!! And I must mention how clean and beautiful the womenâs restroom was!!! Such an absolute super great spot we stumbled...
Read moreLighthouse Grille in Navarre is a fantastic spot! It has a wonderful, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the dining experience even better. The food is consistently delicious with a wide variety of options. I've been there for breakfast and lunch, and everything I've tried has been great. The homemade sausage gravy and home fries are a definite highlight for breakfast. For lunch or dinner, their Philly cheesesteak and chicken quesadillas are a must-try. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. Whether you're looking for a hearty breakfast, a satisfying lunch, or just a place to grab a drink with friends, Lighthouse Grille is the place to go. I highly...
