Best ice cream around. I regularly drive across town, past 3 closer ice cream places to go to Mel-O-Creme. I think they have the BEST peanut butter sauce, and for whatever reason, I think their chocolate ice cream is the best, too. Make sure you check their Facebook to see what special flavors of stuff they're serving on a particular day! Their dole whips and sugar free selections are great. Their prices are fair, and the people who work there are always friendly. It seems to me their recipes have remained true through the years. Excellent selection, always good ice cream, and you can tell by the line. It looks long, but moves quick and is always worth the wait. This is where the locals get their summer treats, and visitors should make a point to stop. They have a few picnic tables, and it's cash only (atm onsite). Paid for my order and it came out pretty quick, got to my car and after I started eating my sundae I realized I had vanilla ice cream instead of chocolate that I asked for, and didn't get the extra hot fudge that I was charged for. But then as my sister was eating her Cricket sundae it was plum overflowing with Oreos as if they gave her extra. Really didn't make sense because we ordered separately.
