The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is beautiful and fun. Our service was mixed the last time we went this past Saturday. The waitress was great at being helpful and anticipating our needs, but the kitchen was running very far behind. Budgeted 2 hours between the time that we made our reservation for and the time we had to be across town, We literally had to have our dinners boxed from the kitchen and ate a few bites out of our takeout containers before we left. I only removed one star for the service because of that because other times on off nights we had great service and because the server was good as well. But I would highly recommend going here after the event that you're attending instead of before. 😅

Fantastic service from our server, friendly surroundings, and tasty French onion soup could not overcome the shortcomings of the restaurant. The drinks were short, the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail was served room temp. I had the prime rib ordered medium.... it was cold and a bit under cooked, but ok. My wife was surprised at the blandness and small portion size of the chicken and didnt eat it. Brocolli was overcooked and mushy. All and not a $100.00 meal. Too bad we had hoped for better.

I ordered the salmon and it was very dry and flavorless which was disappointing. My dad ordered the blackened tuna which was very good though and my brother had the cod almondine which was also delicious. I would just recommend avoiding the salmon. Of course the pointe is known for it's prime rib specials on the weekends which is always amazing. If you are going to the pointe you should get prime rib.

We went Saturday night (reservations) and had to wait quite a bit for everything. Server was nice, though she looked very rushed. She dissapeared for a bit. We had to wait a long time to ask for more bread and by the time we got it, we didn't really want it anymore. I can see how people think their food is a bit bland. It was still good though! I was very satisfied with my dinner--chicken parmesan. Very yummy. My sister liked her chicken marsala as well, but it was 1/3 of the size as mine, so we thought that was weird. Fried pickles were a hit but at $1 per chip?! That was a bit ridiculous. They served a sangria in a chipped glass! When it was brought to the attention of the server and a manager, neither one apologized. They kind of looked at it and were like "Oh!" and walked away. We didn't make a fuss about it, more like an FYI but I'm surprised the drink was still even on the bill! I didn't like the bright lights over the table. It was very loud the first part of dinner then as people cleared out, it was uncomfortably quiet.

TL;DR This feels and tastes a lot more like a casual restaurant with a fine...

My 4th time dining there. 2 good, 2 not good. Reasonable pricing, good food twice we went, then the other two times not so good. Had a reservation for six tonight, and waited 10 minutes for our reserved table minimum. Then Waited 10 minutes for our drinks, were served bread and butter without silverware to spread the butter. Finally after requesting silverware twice, we were able to enjoy the good bread at least. Then waiting 10 minutes to put our order in, Received the house salads actually pretty quick. Then putting in another drink order that we waited at least 20 minutes for. The house type, close together dining isn’t my thing either. So anyway, we ended up waiting over an hour for our food that came out, not cold but just above cold. $20 10 oz prime rib was actually barely above cold. All three we ordered were cold. My wife’s pork chop was actually cold as well. Pretty sure the server we had was her 1st day serving as well. Get our bill, knowing it would be a disaster, and which it was (2 out of 3). Closing, not...

Decided to try this restaurant for our anniversary dinner, not a good experience. We had a reservation soon after they opened, 4:15, our server was VERY pushy, as if she had been working for hours or something and needed us to eat and get out. My husband’s steak was cooked incorrectly a total of 3x (once for the initial service and then sent back 2x. They kept refiring the same piece of meat to try to get a medium temp. Ridiculous). I had the chicken Marsala which had brown sugar in it for some reason and a lot of it. My broccoli on the side was uncooked, had to cut through it with a steak knife and still couldn’t eat it. Cannot stress enough how pushy and rushed our service was, we felt like an inconvenience. Will not be returning and would...
