Snickers Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Ohio

I used to go here many years ago but got out of the habit. I heard the sad news.that it had closed. For me, even though I didn't go often, it was nice having it as an option. I recently saw on Facebook that they had reopened under new management. In a concerted effort to support them, I stopped in for lunch. I had a simple cheese burger because, for me, that's the test of bar food. Snickers passed my assessment with no problem! The burger was perfectly prepared juicy and flavorful and the toppings were fresh and generous. The only possible suggestion is that I wish the patty was a bit larger to fill out the bun. Their beer selection is currently somewhat limited but the just did reopen and are sti setting up suppliers. I look forward to stopping by for a Guinness at some point. WARNING THIS IS A BAR AND COULD OFFENDED SOME PEOPLE THAT DON'T LIKE THE BIKER BAR SCENE. Snickers & Restaurant is a great place to come for a early lunch especially if you want BBQ. Today I had their half rack ribs and two sides special it only cost $12.79 and it was great. They have some flat screen TVs, dart board, pool table, and a big bar. Used to be my favorite hangout. Became just another"New Lebanon bar" where guys like to get drunk and fight. Other shady nonsense goes on. Excellent food and great, friendly employees.
