Berkshire Hathaway 330-629-8300 1315 Boardman Canfield Rd Youngstown, Ohio 44512. Here is another episode of my series: trying small businesses in the Youngstown Area. Today, we are eating at the village pump which is one of my favorite restaurants. I went with the Lo Mein. I love how much food they give you! The staff here is always so friendly and welcoming. Absolutely love this spot! You definitely need to check it out!! @the village pump

I'm in town for work and was looking for a local place with good beer and unique food. The Village Pump did not disappoint! Our server Erica was phenomenal and was both patient and helpful with all of our questions. She made excellent beer and food suggestions and once she found out we were from out of town had some excellent suggestions for things for us to do in the area. To drink, my fiance had the Christmas Stout and I had the Grinch Ale. We had the Scotch Eggs for and appetizer which were delicious and the spiced mustard they are served with was outstanding! For dinner we had the Blackened Chicken Taco salad and the Mac n Cheese. Insanely good! The Mac N Cheese is made with goat cheese, rosemary, and shredded chicken. I ate until I was stuffed and still had leftovers to take home. This place is a gem! After having nothing but fast food for a week, the Village Pump was such a refreshing experience! If new and exciting flavors are what you're looking for, try this place!

My favorite restaurant across the country!! When I lived in canfield I would go here 1-2x/week. I've tried everything on the menu and most of the specials. The pork shanks are a must try! The scotch eggs and rice balls are wonderful. The chicken sandwich is always amazing, especially with a side of the sriracha garlic pork shank sauce. The fries are very tasty. I recently tried the Marley burger and "adult" hamburger helper. The hamburger helper melted in my mouth. The restaurant is a little smaller, but very cozy and I've never had to wait long for a seat. Wonderful bar service and great selection of beers, including some local choices. If you haven't been here you are missing out....go tonight, go this weekend, go so you can start trying all the amazing meals available for you to eat!
