Donut Therapy — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

I really enjoyed Donut Therapy when it first opened. Katy, who I believe was/is the owner, was FANTASTIC! She Truly cared about her customers, provided quality donuts and even better service! I enjoyed supporting the new small/woman owned business. I haven't seen Katy in a long time so not sure if she is still associated with this business or not. The quality of the donuts have declined slightly over time and while most of the employees still emulate Katy's service philosophy/standard, there is a new member of the team that is Absolutely Hateful! She is an older Asian lady and the rudest thing I have ever encountered in service! I've never been greeted for an order with "What!?" I've never been in the middle of sharing my order where this lady walked away right in the middle of my order and closed the window on me to boot. I've never been to an establishment where several hours before closing the hateful response is "we are out of coffee" and no offer to wait while they make more. She consistently - and I believe intentionally - makes errors on your order... Not other employee there does this. if you don't 'catch it' I feel that she gets personal satisfaction from it. I have continued to support the business as I really enjoy the other employees and HOPE to be serviced by one of the others when I arrive which is almost daily. I even took to being rude back to her which takes a lot for me to get to that level. It actually curtailed her behavior a little and I noticed that she would get someone else to help me when I arrived which I Greatly appreciated! Sometimes my husband likes to surprise me by getting my favorite order from there and I find it awful that he gets the same hateful treatment from that very same employee. I just can't believe this is tolerated and I feel that she targets very specific customers as I have observed her with other customers (some in line right before me) and she is quite capable of smiling and providing decent service (it's really amazing). Because she has been allowed to continue this disgusting behavior we will no longer support...

This place is my absolute favorite donut shop in Oklahoma City. I will literally not go to any other local donut shop, and I will drive out of my way to drive to this one. The owner is fantastic & friendly, and my favorite employee is Cici. They know my name and my child’s name, and they even remember little pieces of our lives. This donut shop is special, and not just a place to buy donuts. However, their donuts are delicious! My favorites are the glazed donuts and cake donuts. Trust me, you want to try this place! And show up early…because they sell out every day! We love you, Donut...

I ordered 4 kolaches and 6 donuts for my crew that unfortunately had to work outside today in 25⁰ weather. I asked the girl at the window if she could please warm the kolaches up for me. Her response was they came out of the oven a while ago they should still be a little warm and she slide the window closed. I checked them as I drove off and they weren't warm at all. It would've been nice to give my employees a warm meal while they work outside in cold temps. Maybe listen to your customer's needs more. Kolaches and donuts were just okay nothing special. I won't...
