Ordered via app on my way to work. Checked in waited, app days they are preparing food, then app says they are delivering food. Then app goes away and your order record is gone and I had no food. Luckily I found email receipt. Hit the red button, server asked for my name, gave her my name, they said they didn't have an order, I said I have my email receipt. Kitchen manager came to vehicle and looked at receipt, went back inside and asked via intercom if first name was John. I said yes. She said they would fix it. 10 minutes went by, no food, I hit the red button and said I'm hungry and wanted my food. Server said they didn't have an order for that stall. I blew a gasket and said the kitchen manager had been out to my stall personally. Manager asked why I was yelling at her. Eventually they fixed my hamburger and drink, offered additional tots, and said the would comp my meal. Manager did deliver my food, said she liked my truck, since I had paid, next meal would be comped, they would put my name Ina book and her ame was Terry or Jeri. This visit took 35 minutes start to finish and I was late to work. Manager said car hop had delivered my food on my second attempt to another car. Anyway, I didn't report this because of the comped meal. A month later I stopped for free meal, and guess my name or order wasn't in the book. Had to explain the story, dropped the managers name...and so.ehow after feeling really stupid about asking for a free meal, they remembered (?l or relented and gave me a meal. Read moreAbsolutely worst experience ever. I'm an over-the-road truck driver now, so me being able to stop at Sonic and very few and far between. Where I was parked- because a 18-wheeler pull into Sonic- guard me to go about 3 blocks. They had it indoor seating area which big red words say open during business hours unlocked in rear. It was locked lights are off. I asked one of the nice young carhops if my wife and I could sit inside due to the fact that there was high winds. The CarHop report back to me the manager said that they do not open it after 9. I ordered my food at 9:07. Now my wife and I wanted to sit down outside of the truck and relax for a moment and enjoy having some Sonic struggled to combat the wind. I actually lost my Sonic Blast. Yes there are things I could have done differently like ensuring I can sit inside before in my food, but this leaves me with a very dissatisfied feeling of not being at Sonic in over 2 months and that the staff does not care about the customers and more worried about them getting home. As in the day the way I see it is that you have a job you do the job it may not always be lavish and may get in the way of things but on the same time I know that like no other. Read moreI hate this sonic so much. Every time I come here they take forever to bring stuff out. Even if you order on the app ahead of time. The food sucks and they rip you off. Order popcorn chicken in whichever sauce and all they do is bring you regular popcorn chicken and drizzle a little bit of sauce on them like you would do on French fries. The are suppose to be completely coated. Order their double cheeseburger and they'll send out a kids burger from a wacky pack meal and just throw on an extra piece of small meat. Then the guy today who was the car hop kept wiping sweat off him with his bare hands. I would see him do this then go make ppls drinks, and touching their food, kids, straws, and money and stuff.
